This car park now has an open Morrisons supermarket next to it and a gulf petrol station. The toilet block is now open as is the chemical toilet waste disposal room in the same block. Which is ironic when it states overnight camping for HGV’s only. Also note the far end of this car park is prone to flooding from the river as it was today. Best park up nearer the entrance.

Site is currently (jan 2024) predominantly occupied by a group of people who clearly think they own the place. Generators running all night, dogs exercising, noisy discussions between family members. Vehicles positioned in a defensive circle. Apart from that, a nice stopping place. Hopefully the council will be taking action at some point.

Parked here during the day so can't comment on the overnight situation. Toilets still being refurbished but should be back open in Jan 2024. If you need E5 fuel like us, the olde worlde John Panes garage on the town side of the car park sells super unleaded for a very good price.

lorrys often leave through the night, so not good for light sleepers , but town is lovely to look around ,a lot of pubs to choose from, but toilets are being renovated, stayed there over night as was off to busfest last weekend but £3 for all day who am I to complain, would stay there again

Very busy due to Malvern motor home show. Motor homes and HGV’s everywhere. Plenty of inconsiderate parking taking up more space than needed.

30/10/2022. Update Great Park up for the price. Short walk to the town. Say no overnight, except HGVs. We stayed there and no one bothered us. Also there were 3 other campers who stayed as well. Toilets open all night too.

the signs do day no sleeping except in HGVs. However my 4.5t motorhome is registered as an HGV. so I paid the £7 and am fully legal. Lots of HGVs so try to park away from them if possible, especially chilled loads! lovely area, new supermarket next door. Not far from the town, pubs etc and the river Severn

Paid for 24 hour parking at £3 and stopped overnight, despite the signage saying only HGV drivers are the only people allowed to sleep in vehicles. No-one bothered us and we were accompanied by 5 other campers. Easy access to town, toilets are grotty but better than no toilets and bins provided. Overall we had a quiet nights sleep and would come back again.

They’ve stopped Campervans ant motorhome staying overnight. Only HGVs can overnight here. Can’t even park in the day now either

  • 3/5

On 13/7/21 stayed 1 night. Area to right of entrance used extensively by camper vans overnight plus a few dotted about elsewhere among lorries that parked overnight as well. Lorries started departing at 5am (heard first leave and slept through rest). All had gone by 7am.

Really nice place plenty of room

  • 4/5

Arrived later evening. Plenty of HGVs + artic’s with space left for mh’s and campers. £3 per for 24 hrs. Garage next door.

  • 5/5

Great stop over from M5 on way to Cornwall. Car park is bigger than you think when you drive in. Good for dog walk too. Also toilets open 24hrs. We would definitely use again £3 for 24hrs.

  • 5/5

Lots of HGV’s and 3 other motorhomes, but loads of space. No noise. HGVs leave around 5am onwards. Cost 4pm-8am £1.50 or 24hrs £3!! Bargain. Toilets open on site and garage and pub next door.

Perfect overnight travel stop. Quiet, 5* public toilets open day and night.£3 for 24hr stay. Lovley little marina on the river Severn. Stumbled upon this and recommend for campervans/motor homes

  • 4/5

We stayed here for one night after arriving late - yes, the sign does say no overnighting apart from HGV - why they think there is a difference is beyond me. When we stayed a couple of campervans were already parked up so thought it must be a common thing. We paid our £3 and grabbed a quick breakfast from the local bakery while we walked the dog in the morning. Gorgeous little village.

Drive through Upton out past the Church near the rugby ground. There is a lane you can park in for free no restrictions no services.

  • 2/5

Yes there is a sign saying no sleeping in you car except HGV's but I did it anyway bc a local guy told me they wouldn't check at night. But well wasn t the best night because around 4:30 the HGV's start to leave... but one after another.... so for me it wasn t possible to sleep anymore with one leaving every 10 mins...

  • 2/5

There is a sign adjacent to the ticket machine which clearly states that no overnight sleeping is permitted (except for HGV's)

  • 4/5

This is a nice place to stop. no restrictions signed, toilets clean and town very nice to visit.
