Such friendly owners!! We’re going to close early as empty, but let us in for a few drinks. No problem parking for as long as you like!) Nice big bins. Lovely walk nearby too - by an interestingly back flowing river! A bit of noise from the road, but empty from 12-6am. You do not have to buy food or drink, but just polite to ask to use the loo as they nearly locked someone in at closing time!

Lovely little pub, landlord was really friendly and the dogs cute, car park was a tad potholey and road seemed busy but overall couldn’t argue at all!! Great place. Just make sure you at least buy a pint!

lovely evening in front of the fire. Delicious, generous and well priced food and the owner and staff couldn't have been more helpful. We'll be back in the summer.

Stayed overnight on the 3rd and 4th of Jan 2024. Excellent pub with friendly landlord and bar staff. Didn't have a meal, just a couple of beers. We'll definitely go back.

A true English pub. Just a fantastic place. Good selection of beverages and the evening meal was delicious and all reasonable priced. Landord, Landlady and staff are all amazing. Best pud music I have heard in years. Dog friendly. Free overnight parking for camper van. Just have drinks and/or food. Thank you all for a wonderful evening.

Friendly pub with nice flat car park even if it was a bit muddy in December. Fair amount of noise in the morning from the busy road.

3rd visit to the red lion. Steve the owner and his wife fabulous, great hosts. Buy a drink or a meal and you are welcome to stay for the night. Although you need to stay for the food amazing. Can’t say enough about this wonderful country pub

  • 5/5

Very quiet, accommodating, very friendly. Stayed overnight, had a meal in the pub, whitebait a must! Perfect stay. We’ll be back!

Just got here after a tiring day travelling from Hereford to Burton on Trent and back again (long story). Turned up a bit late (21:45) and the pub was unfortunately shut but we knocked and asked the owner if we were okay to sleep here as we are both shattered. He said it was absolutely fine. Shame we couldn’t have had a nice beer or two but hope we sleep well. Thanks landlord!!.

Très sympa de venir boire un coup juste à côté du lieu où l’on dort. Attention les cuisines ferment à 20h, mais ils servent encore les boissons jusqu’à minuit me semble-t-il

  • 5/5

We had a very pleasant evening, very friendly. Quiet to sleep. Highly recommend.

Just had a fabulous 1 night stay in THE RED LION. I was too late for food but the menu looked amazing. The couple that run the pub are absolutely delightful and great company. They welcomed me and my dog, Humphrey, with open arms. I am definitely planning on coming back. Plenty of room for campervans and motorhomes. They have a field they open when it’s busy so we can park in there.

Excellent stop. Great range of beers and very friendly to campers. Wide range of food options and music on some nights of a weekend. Thoroughly recommended.

Nice spot to stay the night, went in for drink, asked the pub owner if it was alright to stay the night, they were happy, I went back when It was cooler for a meal, had the venison burger and was greeted by their 2 lovely doggos Keep it as you left it, there will be no issues, staff are friendly Busy car park but not full on a Friday night, I was the only camper and slept through the night

Lovely little pub, outstanding food, very good service, friendly dogs and staff. Venison burger and blue cheese (lovely). Stayed for the night in the car park too, no complaints.

My new favourite pub. This place ticks every box: a lovely, friendly, traditional country pub with beams and a log burner, properly dog friendly (with a field and footpath next door), great local beers - and the food is out of this world. Try the amazing Greek specialities. They run outdoor music/food evenings at weekends in the summer. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

  • 5/5

Really lovely overnight stop. Great food, good menu, lovely owners and friendly staff. Highly recommend and will definitely be back if in the area again.

Staying one night sadly. Very welcoming and dog friendly. Flo was the main attraction. Lovely calm atmosphere. Big car park please ring before hand. Also spend time inside. Thank you so much.

  • 5/5

Had a wonderful time food was amazing and a the welcome from the staff and locals was heartwarming definately keep this as a must return location.

  • 5/5

The pub that has it all: great food, a variety of lovely beers on tap, wonderful staff and landlords and Guinea fowls just doing their thing. Sunday roast was just amazing. It has the friendliest atmosphere I’ve experienced in a long time. Lots of events and themed nights happening. In reasonable weather they allow campervans in the lovely adjacent field (provided that you eat/drink with them).

  • 5/5

Fantastic spot. Parked in back field which has plenty of space and only 2 other campers. Ate in the pub, food was lovely as was the atmosphere. Very dog friendly. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

  • 5/5

Very accommodating, allowing the use of the back field. Pub has a great selection of beers and the steak and ale pie was amazing. Will definitely use again!

  • 5/5

Super gezellige mensen, erg gastvrij. Op zondag avond kaasjes voor iedereen die zin heeft en zelf meenemen. Voelt erg huislijk aan. Zullen zeker terug komen als we hier in de buurt zijn.

Great stopover last night Red Lion Inn Stiffords Bridge Crawley 15mins from Malvern hills. Worcestershire. Very quiet nights sleep, good choice of food, ales and Gin. Was another 2 campers parked up. Very cosy old English looking pub , log fire, dog friendly and staff we’re very chatty and friendly too. If visiting Malvern hills definitely one to check out.

We stay here for the night after seeing it on this app. I emailed first to see if they were still accepting campers and I got a really polite email back saying we were welcome to stay. We also had a meal at the pub which was delicious. Overall we had a good undisturbed night sleep and we would definitely return Thank you

Red lion pub. The owners lovely. Locals in the pub great to talk too. Food was amazing. Whitebait to start. Steak and ale pie and lamb burger. Absolutely beautiful. The owners let us stay for free on their car park in our camper van. We will definately be back

  • 5/5

Friendly staff and good space for I’d say a dozen vehicles. Most of the ground is level enough to park with no great hassles. Staff were aware of the park up and get a meal but they said it’s not necessary but recommend you do as the food and drinks in the pub is spot on. Staff are v friendly as well. Recommended.

  • 5/5

Excellent food and beer, lovely atmosphere and hosts. The field is perfectly adequate for a few vans and a large car park as well. The landlady even let us top up our water tank! Will definitely be stopping here again next time we come this way.

  • 5/5

Stopped for 1 night in August, what a hidden gem. We received a warm welcome from landlady, parked in the field which a little uneven but not a problem, the grass was cut beautifully. The food was superb, the staff professional and friendly, the salted caramel cheese cake to die for! We would definitely stop again if we were in the area. Thank you.

  • 5/5

We visited following day in 3 counties for motor home show. Surprised there weren’t more vans here as it is well worth a stay. Good grub and a few pints what more can you ask for

  • 5/5

What a hidden jem! from the road looks like any ordinary pub until you discover the beer garden at the rear with background music and the beautiful interior stunning fireplace. A large field carpark for 10 motorhomes easily. field isn't all level though!food and drink are absolutely amazing, greek inspired menu from friendly owners Steve and Vicki who lived 20 years in Greece. U must visit!!

Call beforehand. pub carpark, flat. they ask you to eat/drink at the pub no charge for parking, lovely owners, lovely food and drink. even the locals were great. we will be back. Great signal. Great experience. they have a field behind the pub too if you fancy staying there its a bit more quiet but we slept well in the carpark!

  • 5/5

Very welcoming owners and friendly and helpful staff. Pretty garden with great choice of background music created a relaxed and sociable evening. Happy for you to use facilities and field behind pub which is surrounded by fields and beautiful walks. Woke to a glorious sunny morning to top off a great stop. Definitely will return!

  • 5/5

Brilliant place to stay for the night. The food at the Pub was 5 star, lots of Greek inspired dishes. Owners very friendly. Just messaged earlier in day to make sure we could stay in car park. Had a great nights sleep!

  • 4/5

Great stopover place - will definitely use again. Fantastic food which we would give 5 stars to. Lots of Greek influences which meant very good vegetarian options but equally loads of great meat and fish options including local venison. It is next to the road so you do get road noise.

  • 4/5

Great pub, large level car park. We ate here and the food was really delicious. Very friendly landlord. Spacious beer garden. The road was a bit noisy at night though.

  • 5/5

Great pub with good food. Stayed in our camper overnight. The hosts were very welcoming.
