We stayed one night August bank holiday as all campsites were fully booked. A quiet spot at night. Unfortunately some people had left rubbish, I hope the don't impose restrictions in the future. The layby alongside has restrictions but not this one.
good place to stay, slightly sloping, traffic in the evening and morning, but quiet at night.
Parked August Friday night in smaller (northern) of the two laybys. Only one car besides my camper. Room for 5 or 6. Shaded in the morning. Little traffic and fairly quiet. No facilities, no restrictions. Free.
Ruime lay-by, vrij vlak en ‘s nachts erg rustig. Vlakbij Old Harry Rocks!
Great little spot to park up quite nights kip and great if you join the national trust for £6 per month you can at 8.30am move to the Knoll beach car park or the other national trust car parks that open at that time then back to the layby to sleep perfect. Great little spot
Just spent a night here, highly recommended. Very quiet at night, nice sleep and the floor is quite even. The large bay easily fit 3-4 vans
Rocked up around half 7, one other camper parked up. Little Road traffic and not bothered by anyone, There is a sign for no camping in the bigger layby but not the smaller one towards Studland end

Stayed for one night, great for one night stay, quiet and only one other van there, no sign prohibiting overnight stays. a bit slopey but otherwise great
Quiet spot just outside of swanage, set off the road. Low branches but avoidable. Woke at 5am to one other car pulling up, but other than that a pleasant stay. In the morning we had breakfast at another lay-by (no overnight camping)
Stayed here last night 1/08/2020. Had no problems, 20min down to the beach and shops. shared the space with one other campervan.
Ideal for a small town lay-by. Quiet and set off the road. No sign (unlike the one just before)
