Good parking for visiting the castle - loads of space. Not sure why you’d park/stop here otherwise though!

musie730/04/2023nuit très calme au milieu des bois, difficile de trouver un sol plat par contre. nous étions plusieurs camping car à y passer la nuit qui est autorisée sur le parking à l'entrée à gauche (pas celui juste devant le château). beaucoup de places possible même pour les grands camping car.
mshields8321/10/2022A large car park near Golspie. We had a slow mobile reception with EE but managed to stream YouTube. Were the only van in the car park. No services so must be self sufficient. Only 4 stars because it was very challenging to find level ground and we don’t like to use levelling blocks when on a wild park up.

Wonderful quiet overnight stop for us last night, visited the castle during the day, walked into Golspie from the car park then stayed overnight as well excellent. Plenty of walking in the grounds surrounding the castle when it’s closed. No facilities. Must be totally self contained.

Haben hier zwar nicht übernachtet, aber wir kamen um 8.30 Uhr an und waren die ersten. Es scheint ein ruhiger idyllischer Übernachtungsplatz zu sein, wenn man gegen 9 Uhr geht. Ab 10 Uhr (Öffnungszeit der Burg) kam dann Trubel in den Parkplatz.

Hier een heerlijke rustige nacht gehad. Het bord dat aangeeft dat je niet mag overnachten staat op en geldt voor de plaats voor het kasteel. Op de parkeerplaats links naast de oprijlaan mag je gewoon staan…en dus ook overnachten. Mooi plekje!

Parking gratuit le temps de visiter le château, très bien :) nous n’y sommes pas resté pour la nuit mais n’avons pas vu d’interdiction

Large stones car park, slightly sloping but plenty flat areas too. Very quiet but can hear the A9 at times. No facilities. Cracking little safe contained stop over and the castle looks beautiful
