Beautiful spot, free parking, lots of signposted walks and maps, mountain bike trails too. No services, but picnic benches in the woodland a short walk in from the car park. Car park is pretty level. I've only visited for the day but when I was leaving at around 6ish the carpark was mostly vans and campers so seems like a good place to stop. No signs about overnight parking either, just no camping or fires in the forest. Very dog friendly.

Arrived teatime Friday and it was less than half full, by 8pm there was just me. A very peaceful nights sleep. By 8.30am the next day (Saturday) the car park was almost full. Would definitely stop here again

Verder superrustig. Geen voorzieningen.

Stayed here last night, excellent. Was away from the power lines, best spot I’ve stayed in. Great woodland walks, saw deer and bats. Busy from the morning with walkers and runners but no problems. Great spot

Stayed over & walked through the forest. Forest was okay though doggy bags thrown as no bins available in this vast area. We found the energies quite low which could be a result to the buzzing pylons. Caused a deep headache so be aware.

Brilliant stopover, no issues. Easy to access (single track road with plenty of passing places). Dog walkers and runners arrive from 7am onwards. A few cars came and went around 10pm, but this was fine. No bins in the immediate vicinity.

this is a cracking place stayed last night and staying tonight as well busy with dog walkers through the day but there's plenty parking got to be over 100 spaces, free of charge as well, come 6.30 99٪ of dog walkers have gone, 110% recommended this place you will have no issues here.

Seems like a nice little place and was the only van here but the static from the electricity lines (directly above) creeped me out a little and then I googled about the dangers of parking and being near them. Wasn't for me at all. Moved on in the end at 11pm but don't regret the decision at all despite the late night. Lots of litter too.

Stayed here a few times and it's a really nice place. Plenty of walks and highly recommended if you have a dog or downhill mountain bike. Can also confirm, recently seen a portaloo near the notice boards in the car park, not sure if it's temporary or permanent. Pylon on one side of the car park, lines run over the car park so signal can be hit and miss and abit noisey on the side where pylon is.

We stayed the night and had the place to ourselves after 21:00, very quite and peaceful. As stated above, lots of walks and plenty of benches. Dog walkers, runners and cyclists started arriving around 07:30 ish but this was a Sunday so don't think it would be as busy on a week day, they weren't noisy so its nothing to moan about. Very little litter about, would stay again if this way.
