Geniale Lage am Fluss Oulankajoki. Weit weg von der Zivilisation. Erreichbar über 20 Kilometer unbefestigte Straße. Die Rentiere laufen an Ihnen am Strand des Flusses vorbei. Die russische Grenze ist 3 Kilometer entfernt. Es gibt praktisch keinen Empfang von 3G oder 4G.

Unser absoluter Lieblingsplatz in Finnland, der auf jeder Tour eingebaut werden muss. Weiter weg von der Zivilisation geht selbst in Finnland kaum. Man sollte absolut autark sein. Zu hoch und zu breit ist nicht hilfreich. Eine Bitte: Fahrt nicht durch die Pampa auf den Strand wenn ihr hier her kommt. Oben am Rand steht man mindestens genauso schön, die Locals grüßen nett und kein Festfahren.
An sich der Perfekte Spot! Ruhig mit einem Fluss, Feuerstellen und Feuerholz sowie einer Toilette. Aber die Stechmücken und Bremsen sind echt der Knaller! Selbst mit Rauch vom Feuer etc. ließen sie sich nicht fernhalten.
Lovely site. Patchy 3/4G. Dry toilets in the woods. Only reason it's not 5stars: lots of mosquitos in the evening and horse flies during the day.
Awesome spot! We came here in November and the road was only a little snowy, but well driven and it good condition. Pure silence out here. There a spots to make a fire, but no sleeping shelter exists (no Laavu). Went for a little walk to the No Man's Land boarder and used the Kota nearby to have a fire. Just beautiful out here and many reindeers, too! Reception comes and goes.
Fantastic place, the tranquility of silence is in abundance here. I've been here for 2 days, probably be here for 3/4 more chilling in my inflatable kayak!
Ein schöner und sehr ruhiger Ort. auf der unbefestigten Straße muss man gut acht auf Tiere geben, mehr als eh schon in Finnland. je nach Wind kam auch Handyempfang und Internet gut an!
