Charmant petit village et grand parking isolé avec champ de moutons à côté et haies tout autour. Le pub propose un excellent menu de pub traditionnel, tout était vraiment savoureux. Personnel et habitants très sympathiques. De toute évidence, vous devez utiliser le pub pour vous garer la nuit.
The Eagle’s Head pub in Over Kellet allows stopovers if using the pub. Couldn’t be more convenient for the trip up or down country. 2 miles off the motorway. Lovely little village and large secluded car park with sheep field next door and hedges all around. Pub has an excellent traditional pub menu, everything was piping hot and really tasty. Very friendly staff and locals. Obviously you’re expected to use the pub for overnight parking.
In der Eagle's Head-Kneipe in Over Kellet können Sie anhalten, wenn Sie die Kneipe benutzen. Es könnte nicht bequemer für die Reise durch das Land sein. 2 Meilen von der Autobahn. Charmantes kleines Dorf und großer abgelegener Parkplatz mit einem Schafsfeld und Hecken ringsum. Die Kneipe hat eine tolle traditionelle Kneipenkarte, alles war sehr lecker. Sehr freundliches Personal und Einheimische. Natürlich muss man die Kneipe benutzen, um nachts zu parken.

Being close to M6 makes this a great stop for travelling north of south. Very friendly and welcoming staff in pub with excellent home cooked food. Would definitely recommend for safe overnight parking in return for buying a meal in pub.
The pub owners were lovely, very friendly and helpful - we called ahead as we were going to arrive after they stop serving food at 20.00 and they made us some sandwiches for when we arrived. Car park is very quiet, waste bins and recycling bins there too. Dog friendly. FYI the current owners are moving in October and unless new owners are found the pub may close.
Wow, sehr gutes Essen, große Portionen und faire Preise. Zum Glück muss man danach nur noch in Bus kugeln, Übernacht darf man auf dem Parkplatz nach dem Essen stehen. Haben vorher kurz angerufen & das geklärt.

Called ahead to confirm OK to park overnight, fairly level tarmac parking with some friendly sheep nearby. Pub serves really good food with large portion sizes and the staff are very attentive. Wednesdays also have a pub quiz for a pound per person which is great fun. Highly recommended.
Sehr schöner ruhiger Platz. Das Essen im Pub ist sehr lecker zu gutem Preis. Sehr freundlich und deutschsprachige Bedienung. Wir können es absolut empfehlen.
Einen Platz zu bekommen war kein Problem. Freundliche Bedienung im Restaurant, aus Österreich stammend, sie half uns freundlich bei der Auswahl des Essens. Essen war üppig und lecker.
Overnight stay. Call in advance to book a table as pub/restaurant is very busy, also to check if there are parking spaces available for the night. We shared with other x2 7m long MHs. Absolutely GORGEOUS food! Worth a little walk around the village. Ground relatively levelled. Good 3G/4G for 3 mobile network. Dinner served until 8.30pm. Very easy access from the M6. Highly recommended!
Stopover on our way to Scotland and ferry to Northern Ireland, phoned ahead, had beer and a meal simple very tasty. Toilet in pub, no other facilities.park at rear of pub.
Fantastic food in the pub, plenty of space and very very quiet spot to park up for the night. Even the sheep in the field next to the pub car park behaved themselves and were quiet all night!

Good car park, good value, hearty pub food - just whats needed after a few hours driving. Phoned in advance - pub quite busy but covid safe. Eat early - 5pm - 8.00. Friendly staff. Great place.
Easy to find with level spaces for several campervans, this spot is a gem. The proprietor, Tommy, is a consummate host who went out of his way to make sure I could still have dinner. He’s also a delightful character who has so many wonderful stories to share if you want to hear them. Dogs & kids welcome provided you let him know in advance of arrival.

We stayed here for one night. Phoned ahead to check availability. Very warm welcome, terrific landlord and staff, excellent food served seated in the garden area. Highly recommend.
We stayed here one night. Unfortunately the pub had closed early due to covid restrictions meaning outside service only and weather had rained them off. Despite getting there after closing they were more than happy for us to stay the night in the carpark. Really level car park at the back with lots of bins. Strong smell of "country" in the area! ;)
This pub is perfect for an overnight stop wether you are North or Southbound off the M6 j35. The food was delicious and, get this, served on our table in our motorhome with a local real ale. This was a great find and we will definitely be back. We also had a really peaceful nights sleep, didn't wake until 8.45am. Phone ahead, and use the pub you won't be disappointed.
Excellent place to stop but would recommend calling ahead as very popular locally. Friendly staff and superb generously portioned food at realistic prices. Thay also welcome dogs!

A peaceful spot tucked around the back of a pub for a motorhome, we called in advance to check there was space and book a table for dinner, the car park was empty overnight but the pub was packed with people dining on a Monday night! The pub staff were so friendly - they even gave us a small private room to eat so we could let our dogs roam free. Portions were huuuuge, and food was tasty, very quick service! No facilities but would highly recommend for a pit stop on route up the country!
Lovely spot round the back of the pub - when I rang to book they said to drive to upper carpark, which was flat. We were one of 4 vans that stayed on Saturday night, but it was a quiet space. You’re parked by the beer garden, which could make it noisier in summer months, but it was drizzling - outside noise stopped about 8.30pm. Food yum! Children welcome. Nice tree for them to explore & v safe.
Very Friendly pub, staff very helpful and the food was great, real traditional pub food, large portions! Car park at the back secluded and quiet! Lovely village with amazing views on a little walk around! Phone in advance as you really need to book a table, very busy with locals!
