Would be perfect with out the boy racers every night

  • 4/5

£11 for 24 hours, but very few seemed to buy tickets (early January). Public toilets either end of the promenade. Fair amount of speedy traffic throughout the night but the morning view of sunrise and access to the beach made up for it.

  • 5/5

stayed here for the night last week great spot cost us £8 over night lovely walk into town and plenty of places to find food Road noise till about 11.30 then pretty quiet

  • 4/5

stayed here 18,09,23 in our 7m bessacarr great views with local toilets and amenities arrived 6pm now only £8.30 for 24h , could of parked for the night on the espanade for free but strong winds out in the open, managed to tuck wendy-ray in a corner perfect spot on queen's drive will definitely be using again

  • 5/5

Perfect spot for dog owners. Big walking area behind. Dogs can go either end of the beach just read the signs. Easy walk into town. £11 for 24 hrs. Max 5.8m length sign says 5.3 but you can mount rear wheel

  • 5/5

Our van is 5.60 long. The parking attendant told us we were fine to stay if we put our rear wheel on the curb at the back so that our van wasn't sticking out over the pavement in front. Protruding over the pavement you could get fined. Parking attendants are v. friendly though. Toilets nearby shut about 7pm. Boy racers bit annoying in eve, but otherwise fantastic spot, great deal for £11/24 hrs.

  • 5/5

Really good over night parking. It’s our go to place. £8 for 24hour but haven’t seen a parking attendant yet. Public toilets 5 minutes either direction. Cafes either direction. Small budgens for shopping. If not big Tesco 10 minute drive. Lovely beech with dog friendly section all year at the end. The standard boy racers going ip and down the sea front until around 11 but soon stop. Really busy in the summer so it feels safe. Cheers joe

I'd say give this place a miss if getting even a moments nights sleep is something that matters to you. Ruined by cars racing by with exhausts popping and banging until the early hours, commercial premises alarms going off, and then the sea swimmers rocking up at 5am for a right good chat. there are better spots to overnight believe me.

  • 5/5

Great place to stay for the night. Right next to the beach and only £11 for 24 hours. We made sure to leave a space between us and the next campers for fire regulations. It was a little noisy, but we managed to get to sleep.

  • 5/5

Great place to crash for the night. Beach front view, local amenities and well priced. Progressive for a U.K. council to offer this.

  • 4/5

Well priced, close to the beach, level, bins, close to lovely restaurant and bar, just missing some clean local amenities. Ones we found were a little walk and not looking great! Some noise from the road, but nothing that would disturb normal sleepers.

  • 5/5

24 hours for £11 on the seafront. Well done Exmouth. I spent £150 last night in restaurants and bars so the economics work.

  • 5/5

Stayed here on a few nights now, view is amazing, only £8.10 to park for 24 hours when paying with the ringo app, also for anyone that wishes to stay you can order krispies fish & chips on theyre website and they will deliver to your van that’s a bonus!

  • 1/5

nearly got a fine for parking next to another camper as apparently we had to leave a spare empty bay for fire regulations and we were told we were too long as well as we stuck out

  • 2/5

Used this for two years and following a pleasant evening stay last week, at 7am the Exmouth parking stasi arrived with their tape measure and tried to fine us for being a foot over length. Deeply unpleasant experience and one that means we won’t be back supporting the local business community.

  • 5/5

Great spaces, right by the sea front! The road was a little busy during the day but went quiet around 9pm - 7am so we had no problem sleeping! Also, nice walk along the beach to get to cafes, restaurants and a shop. Would recommend.

  • 5/5

Fabulous location, first outing in our camper and loved it. £8.30 for 24 hours so great price. No services but gets very busy as such a perfect stop.

  • 5/5

No issues with paying on the parking machine, just follow the instructions and enter the code in the ring go app for motorhomes (small instruction bottom right of the sign) £11 for 24 hours. Lovely location basically on the beach, close to restaurants, arcades, a park and toilets. Will definitely stay here again. Other councils show to follow suit and do similar parking facilities across the UK.

  • 5/5

parked here many times now with no problems.. noise levels never been a problem. toilets just up the road . and a good size field on the back of the bay to sit and watch the world go by.. well be using again

  • 4/5

I just spent a night here. Great spot right on the beach for me and my dog. Pay machines confusing as others have said. Very difficult to locate the menu with motorhome option. Winter charging rates are dominant on the signage and cause confusion.

  • 1/5

I work up to a fine as I apparently was to large for the bay !So be careful! Otherwise a rather noisy place as cars pass practically all night ,but a nice view of the sea

  • 5/5

A great park up, with an easy beautiful stroll into and around Exmouth. Quite windy the next morning (this was November) but was fun to watch the kitesurfers whilst cooking breakfast.

  • 5/5

Signs a little confusing as pay says winter £2 till midnight nothing about 24 hrs yet when I paid with Ringo it gives me 24hrs for £3.30. Guess we shall see. Not sure how long we can stay as we want to stay for 3 days. Guess will shall see on that too. Great view

  • 4/5

Stunning views on the beachfront. Only downside was the noise from cars going past all night.

  • 5/5

Love this place! £3 for a 24hr stay during the winter months! Quite a few campervans here but more than enough space. I can imagine it's very popular during the summer?

  • 5/5

First night away in our camper, paid £8.30 for overnight parking, great location with small walk to toilets and to town for fish and chips. Will definitely be coming back to this location

  • 5/5

What a fantastic spot. Straight across from beach, great for a swim. Good field behind for dog walks. Dogs not allowed on beach in front between May and September but are allowed further along. Few boy racers at night but not too late.

  • 5/5

Beautiful coastal view, quiet after 10/11ish.£8 for 24 hours and there are toilets nearby and a lot of other vans parked so I think it's worth it for the convenience and safety. I'd come back for sure

  • 5/5

Fab spot , lots of room , loads of vans £8 for 24 hours. Bargain..

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

It’s a parking. You pay for it and have a great see view in the morning. Not super calm but also not too noisy. Officially only up to 5,3m motor homes (we were 0,4cm to big but felt like rebels). Make sure to pay the motor home fee (there is an option in the menu) otherwise you will get fined. If you leave in the morning with time on your ticket consider giving it to someone coming to the beach.

  • 4/5

Good place to park, just make sure you pay at meter on same side of the road, as the beach side is controlled by different council and you will be fined if you have the wrong ticket ( according to local people I spoke to )

  • 5/5

great parking lot with brilliant view! £11 charge for 24 hour parking. really happy with this found.

  • 5/5

£11 via RingGo pay... cant complain! A nice "wild camp" spot to enjoy your motorhome without hook up. Sea view to fall asleep and wake up to! Those without toilets, there are public toilets which are a bit of a walk, and aren't 24 hours. * Ensure you use the right RingGo code for overnight parking! *

  • 5/5

Nice and clean plenty of places but max 6 metre van only

  • 5/5

    excellent spot lovely beach

  • 5/5

Just spent the night here, arrived late but paid with ‘Ringo’ app, about 20 other campers here, quiet apart from a few cars passing which died down after 11pm. Lovely sunrise and views in the morning. The toilets open 8am - 7pm, at both ends of the parking bay though the one next to the RNLI is probably closest. A popular spot in the morning for sea dippers, don’t forget your costume!

  • 1/5

Spaces only big enough for a 5m van. Spaces beach side of the road prohibit motorhomes for no fathomable reason, when it would be easier to park longer vehicles. for this reason I'll avoid Exmouth and spend money elsewhere.

  • 5/5

Convenient and a beautiful view to wake up to!

  • 3/5

  • 5/5

Stayed here 9th of March 22 it was £5 For 24 hours very good value public toilet and chippy just down the road

  • 3/5

Good stop and happy to pay to keep the local economy going. Little bit of a walk into Exmouth.(15/20 mins or so) Quietish and felt safe. About 6 campers on a February windy night so obviously well used.

  • 5/5

Lovely night, £11.20 for 24 hrs on the Ringo app, weather was awful but still a lovely stay. Quite and pretty level. Will be back

  • 5/5

    Amazing. £11. Stayed Dec 2021.

  • 4/5

Good spot with a great view. Reasonable price for 24hr overnight parking. Bit noisy from traffic and revving engines but quiet from around 11 onwards although there was a lot of fireworks seeing as it was bonfire night but loved it.

  • 4/5

Super location cost us £11 pounds for 24hours from time on ticket includes overnight. Several toilets and coffeehouses close by and seafront bus into town and on to Exeter as required. No toilet dump stations . Payment accepted with cash or bank card

  • 5/5

Jam packed when we arrived pm and seemed busy and noisy so chose to stay in Maer Park. However, when came to front later, were spaces for MHs and was quieter. Take care exactly where you stay - lots of places for daytime parking but just one stretch on front, across road from sea, where you can sleep. Lots of MHs move to spend day next to beach further down then return here for night.

  • 4/5

Great little spot to park overnight, signs are a bit confusing so ensure you park in the right but for overnight, lovely view to wake up to in the morning.

  • 4/5

Great facility provided by the local council. We arrived early on Saturday evening, but about 10pm about 100 boy racers and spectators turned up. My wife was concerned, the police also came and they then went by about 11-15pm. That apart it is very good with great views.

  • 5/5

Lovely little find. My only negative comment is about the boy racers who think they are in the ‘Fast and Furious’ in the evening and dangerously racing up and down the road. They have usually cleared off by 11. Beautiful location. You can stay here for for a maximum of 3 night and it’s £13 a night. Well worth the visit.

  • 5/5

Fantastic spot to park up for the day and and night. £11 for 24hrs. Got very busy through out the day with beach goers so if wanting to stay the night then arrive by 8-8.30 or if raring later then after 6pm is. Views were brilliant, public toilets and supermarket 5min walk, we found that the toilets had not been locked so was possible to use early in the morning

  • 4/5

£11 for 24 hours for motor homes. Very busy with campers bank holiday May but still found a great spot.. all campers were fairly quiet but some outside chatting. Road quietened down around 10:30, beautiful view and very convenient! Clean toilets. Great shops

  • 5/5

Excellent stop over with a sea view, toilets (8am-10pm) a 5min walk away. Few boy racers up and down but all quiet from 10pm. We managed to squeeze our 6m van on but wouldn’t try to park here with anything longer.

  • 5/5

Just had two nights with no problems and great View and lots of campers.

  • 5/5

A perfect stay for £11 for 24 hours. You are right on the seafront. Enough room for everyone to have their own space. Toilets are close by with a local budgens for essentials. It was noisy with young racers reving through till about 11pm but was quiet through the evening. I would highly recommend still as it was worth it for the morning views.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Should be flagged as " Paying motorhome area".

  • 5/5

This spot was so much better than I expected, The view across the sea is incredible with the beach only 20 steps from your van. The public toilets are a five minute walk although these are closed overnight. The only negative with this spot is that can attract antisocial driving, this did die down at around 22:30 and we both were able to sleep through undisturbed.

  • 4/5

Great spot, we thought it might be noisy on the road but wasn’t. Make sure you are within the parking bay!! Any overlap and you will get a ticket. We were in a VW T5 which was fine but we saw large campers being ticketed. Overheard someone talking to the warden and even though they paid they still got a ticket

  • 5/5

Excellent location and parking. Plenty of stuff to do locally

  • 5/5

Great location overlooking the beach and worth £11 for the location. Good income for the council as well.

  • 4/5

Perfect for the California! Half a dozen others here on 31:01/20. I wonder how busy it gets in the summer!! Great food at Rockfish, a 20 minute walk away. Best to book to get a table in the window for a view of the bay.

  • 5/5

The Queens Road bays are too narrow for motorhomes. Continue round the corner to Maer Road carpark and there are 20 dedicated parking spots for motorhomes which allow overnight sleeping. (£11 in 2019). Thank you East Devon council for being forward thinking for motorhome visitors.

  • 5/5

Stunning location opposite the beach, direct sea views. However, my lwb sprinter was too big for these motorhome spots and I was told to move by a lady from the council the following morning, fortunately there are lots of spots for campers in this area so was not a big issue. Try around the estuary if you have similar problems (imperial road / wreck)

  • 4/5

Thank you again to Exmouth Council for supplying such a great spot for motorhomes
