Arrived 11.20pm after 10pm Ferry from Sputhampton. Took 15mins to get from E Cowes. Woodland parking, downhill slope, no charge or height barriers, found parkup easily. Oddly enough, an Orange van with matching coloured gazebo selling Coffee arrived 7am, well used by local dog walkers. Peaceful night's sleep. Great sounds of the forest to fall asleep to. No facilities.

We arrived here after the midnight ferry and were the only campervan. Nice and quiet overnight with some nice flat spots available. Dog walkers start arriving from 6am and car park getting full by 9am with lots of walkers coming ang going. Woodlands is stunning for walks and we saw both red squirrels and a weasel.

Lovely spot. Spent a very quiet and restful night there. Plenty of space with leveled parking spots.

We arrived at 1am after the midnight ferry , great spot , gravel but muddy with puddles in places . Leave the spot free for the brew van in the morning , seems a nice guy so glad o didn't use his spot . There are coffee A4 laminated where he parks . There is a forest walk of about 1 mile circular , nothing special but worth doing .

parking plus pour 4x4 que pour un camping-car... tranquille la nuit mais au petit matin, tous les chiens de l'île viennent avec leurs maîtres et enfants bruyants... difficile de continuer à dormir... aucun réseau à proxiamité.. gratuit

Very clean, quiet. Bit uneven ground. Lots of dog walkers in the morning but felt completely comfortable here.

Great spot, the little maze that is the car park looks really cool in the dark but can be a tad confusing (had to get out with my head torch to make sense of it all aha). Some random guy came walking through about 2am whilst I was still outside the van, he seemed friendly enough (not really sure if he was talking to himself or me but either of way he never bothered us). Walk was an added bonus!

Great location. Very peaceful and quiet, even the dog walkers did not disturb us. In the morning saw a dog walker get his dog plus a uni-cycle out of his van, he mounted the unicycle and went riding of into the woods with dog following! Entertainment as well, what more could you want.

Lovely nights stop straight off the ferry at 1am. Very peaceful. Woke up to dog walkers. Walked my dog the circular route. Got back to pop up coffee man! Fabulous.

Lovely and quiet plenty of room for more vans than stated and no height barrier, no signal at all there even for emergency services but overall very pretty

Stayed one night after very early ferry arrival just to get my head down. In the morning me and my dog did the circular walk and there were plenty of families with children walking the path as well. So close to ferry it’s ideal.

Wonderful little spot, stayed here a few nights no problems, large car park so if not busy plenty of room for everyone. no fires/bbqs in summer but a great night sleep and wonderful walk for the dog in the morning

Shame because this could have been a nice spot, but a local ‘neighbour’ thought it was acceptable to run a noisy generator until 03:00 when he was politely asked to turn it off. That said, the area was nice, albeit a little uneven.

We arrived hoping to spend a quiet night, just off the ferry. The spot is nice enough, unfortunately a long term camper thought it was acceptable to run a noisy generator till 03.00 when we politely told him enough was enough.
