Incredible sunrise, multiple spaces in different areas of the hilltop so you can have privacy with other campers around. Google maps may try to take you on a dirt road from the EN261-2, but you should take the N120 to come here, accessible to most campers that way

Een super, mooie en rustige plek midden in de natuur. Geweldig uitzicht en je kunt er mooi wandelen in de omgeving. Af en toe parkeerde er een auto, maar we hebben gewoon rustig kunnen slapen.

Super spot très calme avec une vue magnifique. Nous y avons passé le réveillon de Noël nous étions 2 chacun notre spot nickel. Merci de respecter ce joli coin nature partez avec vos déchets. Accessible en PL de 8m50

Toller Ort, tolle Aussicht! Wir standen ganz alleine, nachts absolute Stille. Drumherum stehen Korkbäume, noch nie gesehen!!! Bitte den Müll mitnehmen!!!

Beautiful peaceful place. If you come from north take the south road to the spot! This road is asfalt and well maintained. Not steep.

Beautiful location. Google maps send us via the 4x4 route, make sure to follow the south route instead. We’re there with a few others. We stood behind the church and it was the first stormy night of our trip. I am sure further down would have been fine but we caught quite a lot of wind! Amazing views. A lot of wet wipes though… people should realise that is the same as leaving plastic bottles!

Schöner Platz. Nachts sehr ruhig. Standen hier mit 3 weiteren. Gerade Plätze mit herrlicher Aussicht. Viele Wespen, die durstig sind. Wir haben ihnen Wasser hingestellt.

Superbe endroit pour passer la nuit, au calme absolu. Attention, waze ne nous a pas indiqué le bon chemin pour y aller, nous sommes passé par un petit chemin de terre très compliqué, heureusement que nous avons un van 4x4. Il faut prendre le chemin à partir de la N120 il est goudronné, direction via sacra capela da penha.

Superbe endroit, vraiment une vue superbe entre couché de soleil et levé de soleil, que demander de plus ? Il y a plusieurs endroits pour se poser et avoir chacun son intimité. Foncez les yeux fermés (merci de bien garder propre comme c’était)

This place is what Park4night is all about. What an incredible place. A slight breeze to take away the heat of the day, 360° views, total silence. We were alone in early August then another van joined us after sunset. Just stunning. Let's try and keep it that way. We found it particularly clean and tidy.

Lieu magnifique avec vue extraordinaire sur la forêt, un beau coucher de soleil, et beaucoup de places (au moins 6-7 vans facilement). Attention au chemin que Google Maps vous fait emprunter : il y a beaucoup de sentiers très accidentés, où l’on ne passe qu’en quad. La vraie route pour venir ici est goudronnée entièrement, sauf pour les 50 derniers mètres. Rien autour sinon un lieu religieux.

Great place to stay the night, amazing views, no disturbance. Except local youth who drifted up and down the hill with an 4x4 for 10 minutes around 9 pm. We stayed saturday-sunday with one other van.

Wunderschöner Platz in der Natur. Ruhig und leicht zu erreichen. An der Kapelle startet ein MTB trail.

Mooie plek, uitzicht is prachtig. Er is weinig schaduw en er rijden af en toe (lokale) bewoners langs. Doodstil is het niet.

Sehr empfehlenswert. Super Aussicht, gepflegte Umgebung, mehrere Plätze zum Übernachten vorhanden. Aber denkt nicht du bist der einzige Camper da oben ;-) Kein Service. PS: Anfahrt über Strasse von Cruz Joao Mendes ist sehr schön

Magnifique endroit et superbe vue. Attention à la route que Waze essaie de faire prendre... pas la bonne. Mieux vaut regarder sur maps et repérer le chemin qui va à la chapelle. Vans et petits CC.

Mehrere „Stellplätze“ vorhanden. Ruhige Lage und schöner Blick auf die Stadt. Allerdings kamen gegen 22:30 ein paar Autos vorbei. Ansonsten bleiben wir ungestört. Als wir fuhren (gehen 09:00 Uhr) kamen mehrere Einheimische, um an der Kapelle zu arbeiten.

Beautiful views, a couple of options of places to park on different levels. However it would be nice if people arriving after 11pm whilst other people are parked up, respect others already there and also don't block the entry to the easiest access route. On the edge of a walking trail. Several friendly locals came to the church to do grounds work whilst we were there in the morning.

Super Aussicht und ruhig. Auffahrt ist geteert, aber die letzten 100m sind feste Erde und könnten für größere Camper mit Vorderradantrieb schwierig werden. Bitte kein Müll hinterlassen und auch kein Lagerfeuer machen

Arrivée de nuit, un Ccar de 7m ne monte pas, il dérape pour la dernière montée. la place étant occupée en bas j'ai dû renoncer. Grosse déception.

Magnifique endroit avec 3 possibilités pour se garer. Nuit noire étoilée avec vue sur les alentours. Hyper calme nuit et jour. Pas de services donc merci de laisser propre. Aujourd’hui c’est propre et verdoyant. Belles balades possibles. 4G ok. Accès facile en H2L2. Je reviendrais

Haben eine sehr ruhige Nacht hier verbracht. Schöne Aussicht und toll zum laufen mit dem Hund. Am nächsten Tag kam die GNR kurz vorbei um nach dem Rechten zu sehen. Durfte stehen bleiben, wenn ich keinen Müll hinterlasse.

Endroit tranquille pour dormir et commencer un road trip dans l’Alentejo. On s’est garé face à La Chapelle pour dormir, terrain plat et très calme. Merci de laisser le lieu propre !

Emplacement calme et vue magnifique. Plusieurs personnes, ne pas arriver trop tard pour avoir de la place.

Schöner Stellplatz auf einem Plateau unterhalb einer kleinen Kapelle, haben eine ruhige Nacht mit 2 anderen Campern gemacht. Anfahrt etwas holprig aber nicht zu schlimm. Nachts kam ein Fuchs vorbei hat aber nur neugierig geschaut. Können den Platz weiterempfehlen.

Très bel endroit, d'un calme absolu. Certains viennent et repartent pour voir la vue, très jolie de jour comme de nuit Nous nous sommes placés sur le côté ouest de l'église et l'endroit était propre Effectivement côté sud c'est malheureusement sale !

le lieu est très bien, très tranquille car un peu éloigné tout en étant à 5 minutes de l'autoroute. d'ailleurs on entend un peu la route car nous sommes en hauteur mais pas très gênant. par contre c'est une honte, c'est parsemé de papier de partout ! comment laisser tout cela dans la nature?! ce n'est pas bien compliqué d'avoir une petite poubelle et de les y jeter... ça gâche l'environnement !!!

Ein wunderschöner Platz für ein,zwei Nächte mit fantastischem Ausblick auf den Wald ! Haben schon 2 Füchse gesehen. Die Waldwacht kommt jeden Abend zum kontrollieren vorbei (aber nur um Vermüllung zu vermeiden)!!!

Sehr schöner Platz mit toller Aussicht. Leider aber auch recht viel Müll. Wir haben eine kleine Müllsammelaktion gestartet. Wenn es vielleicht ein paar mehr auch den Müll anderer mitnehmen, kann dieser Platz hoffentlich langfristig erhalten bleiben :-) .

Un des meilleurs spots qu'on ait pu faire en van. Nous y sommes passés deux fois pour passer la nuit. A chaque fois personne n'était là. Nous nous sommes mis du côté qui est face à l'église. La vue, les chênes-lièges et le ciel étoilé rendent l'atmosphère particulièrement belle. Il s'agit d'un superbe lieu à apprécier et à respecter (rammassez les dechets svp).

Very nice isolated spot. We spent a night there and were able to take a shower easily with our solar shower. Be mindful that there are some hikers coming to see the small church even in the early morning.

Spot nature super sympa avec de jolies ballades

it's a beautiful place, very quiet but the road leading to it is very narrow, last part leading to monastery is loose, uneven and pretty steep. there's a small but level parking space just where the asphalt ends, but it would only fit maybe 3 vans (if there were 3 vans there you'd have to reverse quite a way down). I definitely wouldn't recommend it for larger vans or motorhomes.

Schönster Stellplatz, morgens wird man von allerhand Vögeln geweckt, tagsüber grüßt der Kuckuck. Die Flora ist unheimlich schön, man fühlt sich wie in einem Storchennest.

Toller Platz direkt am Jacobsweg. Wir blieben 3 Tage. Hinter der Kirche hat man eine tollen Aussicht auf Grandola - besonders nachts. Da ist auch der Empfang besser. Wird aber jeden Abend von Einheimischen frequentiert.

Lugar muy tranquilo, hay varias opciones de aparcamiento, todas planas. no es necesario subir el último tramo, más difícil para las autocaravanas, pues es de tierra y hay desnivel. aún así nosotros subimos bien.

Fantastisch. Verschiedene Ebenen, es gibt genug ebene Plätze. Wirklich tolle Aussicht, der Ort hat was magisches. Wir sind im Dunkeln angekommen, was kein Problem war. Gefestigte Strasse bis kurz vor Ende, danach geht ein Holperweg zur Kirche hoch, da braucht man je nach Camper ein wenig Anlauf. Alles ohne 4x4 machbar, danke für den Tipp!!!

Great view, sunset and sunrise. there were 2 campers when we arrived but still had a private spot behind the little church. Police came by at night but just went away again. you can hear a highway in the distance and at night some boars, but overall a quiet relaxed spot.

Agree with the last one. super spot!!!!! only 100m gravel and no steep at all. very very calm, just us in the low season.

Non leggete l'ultimo commento. La strada è asfaltata fino quasi allo spot di fronte alla chiesa. Facilmente percorribile con un Ducato non 4x4. Posto silenzioso e tranquillo. Frequentato da qualche locals. Bel tramonto sulle colline circostanti e sulla città illuminata. È passata la GNR all'ora di cena, ha fatto un rapido giro di controllo intorno alla chiesa e se n'è andata salutandoci.

Très glaucque, j'ai jamais eu peur dans tous les spots sauvages, mais celui là, j'ai fait demi tour. maisons abandonnées sur le chemin. les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité. en plus de la pente glissante à monter où j'ai patiné..

Ein ruhiger schöner Platz. Leider jedoch sehr viel Müll, bzw Toilettenpapier. GNR kam Abends und kontrollierte. Der Platz wird sehr gerne von Pärchen genutzt.

Perfect place! Don’t stay on the top (next to building) but on the lower parking place. Best view with the sun going down and directly in the green. One of our favorite „wild“ place so far.

Schöner Platz und toller Sonnenuntergang. Leider war es bei uns nicht so ruhig. In der Nacht kamen immer wieder Autos und Leute die sich laut unterhielten und rumschrieen.

Sehr schöner Platz für Wohnmobile, oder Dachzelte. Wahnsinns Aussicht, richtig schöner Sonnenuntergang und toller Mond. Sehr nette Fußgänger. Etwas windig. Und für die Dreckschweine unter uns, schmeißt euren Müll bitte nicht ins Gebüsch. Sonst darf man sich irgendwann nirgendwo mehr hinstellen.

Perfecto y tranquilo. Un puesta de sol excepcional. Hay varias plazas totalmente planas.

Gut erreichbarer wunderschöner Platz umgeben von Korkeichen. Haben auf dem unteren Level geparkt und fühlten uns super sicher. Am Abend kam ein Bauer mit zwei Hunden auf seinem Traktor vorbei gefahren und winkte uns nett zu. Nachts in der Ferne Hundegebell. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Loved it. Three very quiet nights. If you have a smaller van and park on the lower level. There is no wind, and much less noise from the motorway. Some people come to sit in their cars and cuddle but not many, and only by the church. You won't be disturbed if you park on one of the lower levels. Be aware of ticks at this Time of year. Our dog got 5 in 3 days.

Rustige nacht gehad met twee andere busjes. kleine wandeling gemaakt door het kurkeiken bos. het Portugese leger deed bij de vervallen boerderij oefeningen maar daar hebben we geen last van gehad.

Hors-saison je suis seul la route d'accès quoique un peu étroite et en bon état sauf sur la fin moins de 100 m en terre. Bien penser à passer par Lahor et le petit hameau de Penha car l'accès par l'autre côté risque vraiment de poser des problèmes le parking en haut près de la chapelle est plus exposée au vent mais il y a un petit parking plus bas si vous avez la chance d'y avoir une place c'est top.

Wirklich ein schöner, ruhiger Platz. Nachts fast keine Störungen ausser durch Liebespärchen.

Einsam und schön. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns das Wandern in den Korkeichenwäldern.

I don't know what the previous comment were about: this place is awesome! Nice view, some traffic during the day but absolutely quiet during the night. Totally easy access: the asphalt road becomes a dirt road only 100m before the spot and splits here. Do NOT take the right road close to the chapel but stay straight for 50m and then turn right onto the parking.

Only little space to park, quite steep, definitely not recommended for big camping cars. Besides that a really Nice spot
