Great night stopover 30/07/2023 loads off footpaths around brilliant views very dark at night would stay again

Ouah ! Juste magnifique. Une incroyable vue sur Manchester. Parking départ de rando. Aucun bruit ! Parking fréquenté la journée mais aucun véhicule la nuit. Bien sûr il y a toujours cette fameuse personne qui klaxonne la nuit pour dire que nous avons rien à faire la. C’est très habituelle ici j’ai l’impression !

Great spot for the night. Intermittent 4g, great views. Peaceful night a few other vans. Would recommend.

A great spot, and flat enough though had to use ramps. Intermittent 4G' and a bit exposed and windy. otherwise enjoyed our stay

Lovely views, came to chill out and enjoy the views. Great spot for camping but no facilities so take all your rubbish with you! Only lost a star because there are no bins but perfect other than that.

Fab spot! We’ve stayed here for a night! Lovely little parking place with amazing views! Took a great walk in the morning too. We had 3 campervans stay on the same spot for the night. Few cars came and went after taking walks nearby. Would definitely come again! Free but no amenities near by.

Fantastic place to relax for the evening and overnight. Super quiet and chill. Please help keep this place tidy, unfortunately lots of litter bugs visit too!!

What an amazing place! Spectacular scenery on the way up if travelling through Goyt Valley. Amazingly peaceful and stunning views. Walkers started arriving at 8am but we'd had breakfast and were ready to leave by then. Please keep this place clean and waste free, it would be a shame to lose this place.

Pym's Chair car park. Stayed overnight on 26th April along with 2 other vans. Quiet with lovely views. Some nice walks around the area.

It's actually called Pym's Chair car park. Great spot as mentioned for walking. Kettleshulme is a nice walk about 2.5. Miles away. You will get a great meal at the Swan Inn there. Erwood Reservoir also not far away.

Great spot for views and very peaceful at night. Protected by Forestry England but free. Flat on most areas of the car park and later on it’s basically empty. Lots of people at sunset for ‘the gram’ but they soon disappear. 9/10 would recommend!

Remote, very quiet, great views over Manchester in the dark. Lots of great walks. Walkers arrive early in the morning but don’t disturb you. The area is called Windgather for a reason. Batten down the hatches

What a lovely remote spot in the rugged peak district we arrived to a lovely calm sunset but woke in the night to windy conditions so make sure any loose objects are secured as I had to retrieve a few items! popular with walkers so can be busy in the morning. No facilities so take your own and respect the environment. Had a lovely evening meal in the Cock @ Whaley Bridge highly recommended ✔

Lovely place, can be very windy but that made me like it even more. Very quiet traffic wise.
