Nice spot.£15 is steep. Went and payed the lady in the cafe. Extra £10 for hook up. She asked me to keep an eye out overnight for her over the shop?? I should be getting paid to stay here.

Ideal spot to explore Tweedmouth, and walk across to Berwick-upon-Tweed, which would take you around 45 minutes,if you do walk across, then walk the walls, and also visit Bridge Street, for restaurants, spas, and independent shops! This is really just a car park, but the little café nearby is good for café grub! The staff there are friendly, the toilets are open until about 6 pm, next to the beach!

  • 5/5

Stayed for one night very helpful nice walk along the easy to find

  • 4/5

Like others felt £15 steep for what it is...a car park on the beach promenade. However we got a great, quiet night sleep. The chap seemed lovely and friendly. Public toilets open early am till about 6pm I think. cafe does morning coffee / rolls. Spectacular beach just in front and the promenade is great for kids on scooters or bikes. Easy enough walk into town. Would stay again.

£15 seems pretty steep for a car park with the view of the back of the arcade. Extra £5 for electric hook up. Having said that for a solo traveller it felt safe and a stones throw to the beach. Area flat. Cafe, shop & pub nearby. Loo run by council shut pretty early but open again early in am. Would definitely use this parking area again.

£15 for a car park I know but it’s safe and allowed!!! Right on the beach and cafe and toilets

  • 4/5

Hard standing pitch. Right on sea front. Electric hook up. Public toilets. But also porta loo which is handy for through the night. Play park. Lovely beach. £15 night £5 extra for hook up

  • 1/5

£15 a night. £5 Electric on top. We moved on free parking. 5 minutes away.

  • 2/5

Arrived everywhere was closed toilets smelt decided to move on will not return 2 stars for the beach

  • 3/5

We stayed here in April 2021 for free as arrived after the owner had gone home and the electric hooks ups weren’t quite working. Loos nearby too. Level spot behind the amusement arcade. Second time to stay here. Not sure we will stay here if charge is £20 as bit steep.

  • 4/5

As it says in the description, there’s an overnight park up charge of £15 here. After speaking with the owner we didn’t stop as it is just a carpark behind a cafe (although it does offer electric hookups) & we thought the price was a bit steep for what it was so moved on. Beachfront is lovely though.

Great place to park for the night, not scenic but the beach is in front of the cafe and arcades, just buy something or go into the amusements, they will let you park free for the night but ask first, plenty of room, I was the only one there when I stayed, toilet block at the end of the carpark, open 6am, close 5pm, very clean, so enjoy and I hope people don't abuse the place and leave litter

  • 5/5

Staff at cafe very frendly, not got problem for overnight parking, just buy something from the cafe or spend some money in the arcades, great location behind the beach

  • 5/5

Perfect very quiet, owner very helpful. only one other camper.

  • 2/5

Place was very untidy and close to houses. Not sure so didn’t stay.

  • 5/5

Simple carpark. spoke to owner just before he closed amusements. no issue with parking overnight. Its just a few steps to the prom but a good walk into the walled town. had a secure and quiet night here. bonus that the toilets opened early and were clean.

  • 5/5

Wooow what a nice place! We parked here on the winter at night and waked with an beautiful view! Locals where very friendly. Great place to stop

  • 2/5

Parked here overnight midweek two other vans there great beach for walking dogs locals friendly continued on our way NC500 and stopped of on way home on a Saturday night only van there not so quiet after pubs a few rowdies. Not a problem tho just noisier than expected. This was end of September and everything seemed closed up.

  • 5/5

Came here after not feeling too happy at our previous location. Good nights sleep and toilets opened first thing

  • 3/5

Wasn’t sure about the location at first but very quiet night - joined by one other van. Toilets opened first thing and very impressed at how clean they were with toilet paper and soap!

  • 2/5

À le mérite d’exister. Belle vue sur la mer. Rien à proximité les jours de pluie. Belle place de jeux pour les enfants et la plage à côté. Gratuit mais sans service.

  • 5/5

Nuit calme, toilettes publiques propres fermés la nuit. Parking autorisé la nuit à côté du Take Away, mais interdit sur le parking le long de la plage

  • 5/5

Petit parking d’aspect quelconque mais très calme, il faut se garer au bout pour avoir une vue sur la mer et se laisser bercer par le cri des mouettes et le bruit de la mer.
