This is the best, if the police are cool with overnighters and just give a friendly wave, I can relax into a stress free stopover. Walk to the pub for beer or food. Walk to Spun Head and climb the lighthouse only £4. Enjoy great sunsets. Good 4g signal.

  • 5/5

Absolutely cracking spot and so peaceful, not a single other vehicle. Walked out along sea defences with dog in morning before heading off.

  • 4/5

lovely quiet place to stay. police drive in and out a few times a day. beautiful sunset and sunrises. walked from here to spurn point in 3h. no bins here but if you're walking to spurn point there's bins at the discovery centre and toilets.

  • 5/5

We've been coming here for years. it's always quiet after dark. the police from the nearby gas terminal come down regularly so it tends to keep the boy racers away. there's plenty of level parking, great walks along the flood defences and lovely food nearby at the Crown and Anchor.

  • 5/5

Super spot tranquille avec une belle vue sur l’Humber. La police est passée 3 fois en nous saluant a chaque fois.

  • 5/5

    lovely peaceful spot

  • 5/5

Parked here last night for the first time also the first time in the van without been on a campsite. Absolutely loved it! Police came up and down but didn’t bother us. Us as I say 3 vans and possibly 1 car camper. Watched a beautiful sunset. Really quite can only hear the waves and birds so relaxing! Little windy as we parked on the top but nothing major! Really good nights sleep!

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet spot, great for bird watching in this area. Toilets at coast. Great food & a pint at The Crown and Anchor.

  • 5/5

fabulous overnight stop. been here several times now. police visit often. no problems. sat here on good Friday. the tide is in and I'm looking over the estuary watching the ships going to and from hull. amazing sunsets over the estuary. a few bird watchers and walkers come during the day but just me on a night. nice walk to the lighthouse. crown and anchor pub serves food. 10/15 minutes walk.

  • 5/5

Great quiet spot and like many places in this area people have commented on police driving in and out on a regular basis, this is due to increased security around the nearby Easington gas complex which is nearby and nothing to be worried by.

  • 5/5

Endroit calme mais venteux. Seul. La police s’est montrée mais aucun soucis. Idéal pour une attente de ferry.

  • 5/5

Excellent. Lane is a bit questionable on the way down but if you take it slow and steady you’ll be fine. Has a hump in the middle that may cause damage to under water tanks. Parked on the high section lots of big pot holes so arrive when you can see. Plenty of parking, beautiful views & got walks for dog etc. No bins, no water. Peaceful & quiet. Some dog walkers.

  • 5/5

Brilliant location, level car park, one car left as I turned up, didn't see another person before I left the following morning.

  • 5/5

Beautiful place to stay. Nice walks in either direction along the sea defences - coast to one side, rape seed fields to the other. Some interesting old tank traps, fabulous wildlife. We stayed on Easter bank holiday weekend and there was only one other van once the sea anglers had gone home. Some birds potters arrived at about 7am. No facilities at all.

  • 5/5

stopped here for one night. Only two other cars showed up to walk their dog and the other was a man bird watching. out of the van, flat ground

  • 5/5

Lovely place to park for the night. As it was windy,we parked on the lower level which sheltered us but we still had great views.Plenty of places to walk from here and great place to watch the sun set. Very quiet area and we would stop here again.

  • 5/5

Quiet area, didn’t see a soul all night. Beautiful views to wake up to. And was lucky enough to see a sky full of stars. Within five minutes of spurn point car park. Will be back soon

  • 5/5

Here now, it's open again, no construction workers left. Seems the same as before, no new signs up so should be OK.

  • 3/5

Beware this was closed today due to construction, hopefully it will open again once finished.

  • 5/5

Carpark still closed. Road signs up

  • 4/5

Looks a lovely place. However there’s signs (blown over by the wind) that say the car park is closed from 17/5 for 7 weeks for the environmental agency to do some work

  • 4/5

Great park up and sunset. 5 mile hike to tip of the spurn. Two others Vans. Level enough to not use chocs.

  • 4/5

Fabulous views, very quiet... As per other reviews the police popped in several times!!! There was only us and the occasional dog walker and just all night, the only problem we had was in our minds wondering why the police take the time to pop in!!!!! So, beautiful location and stunning views, but not a lot of sleep!

  • 5/5

Lots of puddles after a rainy few days, but nice sunset and view. a few environmental protection workers in a few cars pulled up at 9am but did not make much noise. approx. 45 minute walk to the spurn discovery centre along the waterside

  • 5/5

    Great little spot!

  • 5/5

Excellent overnight stop, great views. A few dog walkers and couple of fishermen. One other van there when we arrived. Peaceful and no problems, great for birdwatchers.

  • 4/5

Blowing a gale and torrential rain, awesome place to ride out the storm last night.

  • 3/5

Amazing location but chose not to park4night here as it was stormy and the wind very strong. A part of the road just before the parking bay had also flooded from the rain. Would like to go back in better weather!

  • 5/5

Very quiet and calm, police checks during night. Lovely views on all sides, especially the Humber Estuary.

  • 5/5

Very quiet spot with extensive views of the estuary and Spurn Point. There is a walk along the estuary banking both sides and perfect for bird watchers. No facilities of any kind. Will stay again.

  • 5/5

Lovely little spot, another just along from here if full, great views, two layers so can be hidden from wind if required

  • 5/5

Great park up with space for 4/5 vans. Police patrol every few hours but seem to have no problem with overnighters.

  • 5/5

Stayed here for one night, very peaceful. One police car came and just turned around again.

  • 3/5

Endroit calme avec le doux son son des vagues

  • 5/5

Great park up. Wonderful nights sleep with the sound of ocean, the wind and the rain buffering the van. Access restricted by a narrow lane so really only suitable for small vans. No refuse point.

  • 4/5

Super parking au bout d’une route avec passing place nuit tranquille passage de la police et le matin nous y avons assisté à un lâcher de 50 pigeons voyageurs.... 4/5 places nous avons 1 Cc de 7m50 pas de service

  • 4/5

Spent two nights here. Quiet and relaxing after a few dog walkers and sight seeing cars left.
