Beautiful spot overlooking the valley…. Quiet all night with only 1 neighbour. Right at the top of a hill but less wind than expected with Storm Gerrit sweeping through the country!

jonnyjinx14/10/2023Beautiful spot, beautiful views, great TV & mobile reception. We parked up with one other van for the night, but due to the extreme wind, we had to move on at 1:30am.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Stunning views, plenty of benchs and a few picnic tables. Most of the parking is on a slope. A few cars late at night, but did not bother me. A 35-40 minute walk into Laurencekirk along the main road crossing the dual carriage way. Rubbish bin in carpark.

Really good spot, was only one here all night no probs. Cracking sunset and not windy so had a good sleep

Der Ausblick ist super toll und wem das am wichtigsten findet wird hier Glücklich! Jedoch gibt es nur einen Platz der richtig gerade sind (Die anderen sind leicht bis Mittig abfällig) und der Platz ist direkt ein einer Mittelstark befahrenen Straßen. Wir sind weiter gezogen, aber nur weil wir in der Nähe einen schönen Platz gefunden haben, sonst wären wir auch da geblieben.
dunks51725/10/2020There is one reasonably flat spot right next to the visitor information sign. A couple of car pulled up in the evening however a nice and quiet albeit slightly breezy night until the bin man came to empty the bins. Outstanding view of the Howe of the Mearns. Plenty of picnic tables to boot!
