Decent for a quick stop on the way to do the NC500. Arrived at 11.30pm on a Friday and the town was dead. A few cars in the night and some wagons/buses in the morning but overall decent. Convenient for getting breakfast in the morning with loads of cafes to choose from.
Considering we stopped on a Friday night and the parking is in the middle of the high street, we had a perfectly quiet night to stopover in town. Heard music until 11, then quiet. Easy to fit larger vans too.
Nice to join the friendly community of Moffat for a night. Central location means limited peace. Some local concern about those who stay too long (there's also a very handy campsite) but great for a quick overnight. Shame the flat carpark opposite Station Road is controlled by the county not the town, because it'd be a better overnight stop than this central carpark. Loos behind the town hall.
Schon um 6:00 Uhr am Morgen spielt das Café gegenüber laute Musik und Radio. Die Lautsprecher sind auf den Parkplatz gerichtet. Man hat keine Chance, dem Lärm zu entkommen.
This is the second night we have stayed here. Yes, there’s a little noise from cars/locals leaving pubs and restaurants etc but what would you expect from a town centre car park. As far as we are aware you can stay for 1 night. It’s level and a great mid ground for us to stop so would definitely recommend and visit again. 60% 4g connection which is perfectly adequate. All in all a great stop.
Very convenient for a quick stop, but it’s loud when a car passes. If you want to grab a vegan breakfast in the morning we recommend Mutchies Munchies and the petrol station/Spar has a toilet that opens at 6am and closes with the store in the evening.

Tried to stay at Green Frog but they were not interested so stopped here. In town centre but quiet at night (Wednesday). Ate at Black Bull pub and had an excellent meal, we only just managed to get a table so might pay to book.
Lovely little town. Stayed one night. Very quiet stay. Chip shop and lots of cafes and pubs. Toilet open between 8am and 19.50pm behind the town hall
