Unfortunately all Ashdown Forest car parks are now pay and display. You can pay using app on phone.
Parking Hindleap dans la forêt Ashdown pour les promeneurs de chiens surtout, c'est gratuit et il y a beaucoup de place pour les camping-cars. Une dame qui a dit bonjour a dit qu'il pourrait y avoir un gardien, pas très sûr s'il y en a un qui patrouille ou non. Il n'y a pas de poubelles, donc ne laissez aucune trace et emportez vos déchets. Même s'il est populaire auprès des promeneurs de chiens, il n'y a pas non plus de bacs pour chiens. Utilisez la discrétion évidemment.

A lady who said hello said there might be a guard, not sure if there is one patrolling or not. There are no trash cans, so leave no traces and take your trash. stayed the day there today high top vw lwb crafter, loads of room. Might be muddy if wet as unsurfaced. Great spot for relaxing, quiet & a few dog walkers. No overnight parking

Great place indeed, buy not for overnight stay. all the spots in the national forest are banned for overnight stay. There are signs for 500GBP penalty on every car parking.
