27/10 road barred just beyond town with 2 staff saying no access up the road which cuts out many of Bansko's possible parking options. We turned and stopped at the gondola lift station but within 15 minutes were told very rudely by security "OUT". Seems Bansko doesn't like us!
Deux tables de pique-nique sous abris, pas de vue, pas de poubelle, à 2 m du parking. Pas particulièrement calme, pas particulièrement jolie. À l'ombre pour manger...
We’re very happy to spend the night here. Place into the wild, close to both the Bansko downtown and the ski slope. There is woollen pavilion with table and bench suitable for cooking and having dinner. We saw the chairlift cabins above us during the morning.
We spent 2 quiet nights here - parking is busy with walkers during the day but empty at night. Great hiking trails around too
A great spacious place in the woods. There's a path starting from here, so some people came in the morning, but not many (in October). There was no water when we were here either. Worth noting that Google Maps shows a campsite a bit further up the road, but it did not exist when we went looking for it (and it was very difficult to reverse once you got to the side road which should lead to it).
