Good location if you're visiting Ben Chonzie, which is a 5-minute drive to the car park. Enough room for 4 vehicles and convenient bin there . Nice walk across road up to Lord Melville's Monument and short walk down to river with weir, where there is a good flat area for a dip.
A very quiet spot in late December. Has a river running near by. Was nice to listen to the sound of the river flowing in the evening.
TICK AREA!! We loved this spot, the road was extremely quiet. There was a rope swing from the big oak tree and a nice grassy patch for the kids to stretch their legs. However 3 out of 4 of us had a tick after the waterfall walk / playing in this area so do be vigilant!
Great quiet spot. Room for 2, 3 at a push.
A great place surrounded by nature and footpaths. I would say you could fit two or three campervans in here.. there is a river down a short slope with a weir so swimming is an option...
