Perfecto sitio para acampar, tranquilo y bonito paisaje, .puedes hacer una hoguera esta preparado para ello y el dueño muy amable y simpatico te ofrece leña. Esat Meon es un pueblo pequeño y bonito nos ha gustado volveremos
Le terrain de camping de Meonside est un petit champ de pâturage faisant partie d'une ferme locale. Propriétaires sympathiques, site bien entretenu, ordonné et basique (pas d'EHU), avec deux pubs et une petite boutique dans le village voisin. 4x portaloos (nettoyés quotidiennement et désinfectés deux fois par jour) et l'eau courante du réseau électrique sont disponibles 24 heures sur 24. Le bois de chauffage est disponible pour 5 £ par sac. Les emplacements sont auto-attribués et il n'y a pas de véritable heure d'arrivée ou de départ, la plupart ont des foyers (mais ils sont mobiles). Bel endroit pour appeler à la maison pendant quelques jours. Il n'y a pas beaucoup de zones totalement plates sur le terrain, alors apportez des blocs de nivellement. Réservable via pitchup pour 12 £ par nuit.
Meonside camping ground is a small grazing field, part of a local farm. Friendly owners, well kept, tidy and basic site (no EHU) , with two pubs and a small shop in the nearby village. 4x portaloos (cleaned daily and disinfected twice daily) and running water from the mains supply are available 24 hours. Firewood is available for £5 per bag. Pitches are self allocated and there is no real check in or check out time, most have firepits (but they are moveable). Beautiful place to call home for a few days. Not many totally flat areas in the field, so bring levelling blocks. Bookable via pitchup for £12 per night. Cheaper booked direct.

Brennholz ist für £ 5 pro Beutel erhältlich. Die Stellplätze sind selbst vergeben und es gibt keine wirkliche Check-In- oder Check-Out-Zeit. Die meisten haben Feuerstellen (aber sie sind beweglich). jimmy23Camper12/08/2023Prachtige locatie, vriendelijke eigenaar, 's morgens is er een klein koffie standje met heerlijke koffie, warme chocolademelk en koffiekoeken. Verder zijn er enkel toiletten en een wasbak. Je kan zelf kiezen waar je je parkeert, de eigenaar komt regelmatig is langs. Wij schrijven dit hoog aan voor enkele nachtjes en komen zeker terug.

Beautiful little place. A field with quite a nice view - has a tap and portaloos and can provide firewood on request. I was the only person there but can get busy on summer holidays and bank holiday weekends. Highly recommend this campsite - nestled in a lovely part of the Downs with lots of great hiking and cycling nearby.
seaandsup05/09/2022Lovely little campsite for a one night stop in the van, coffee and breakfast available from a converted horse trailer in the morning. Paid £8pp booked on pitch up, dog was free and welcome. The manager came over for a chat and was very friendly.

We stayed here one night on our way to Portsmouth for the ferry to Bilbao. I would have liked to have stayed longer, the owner is very friendly and attentive, no allocated bays, the water is from a bore hole, the toilets are very clean with paper and sanitiser, the village is 10 mins walk away. We will definitely be back.. ps the first pub you get to is cheapest by £3 a round The Izaak Walton..
