difficult to get level, but nice and quiet spot with a bit of a view. Strong 4G signal. Note that the car park is to the east of the pin on the map; using the navigation feature directed us to the actual site of the medieval village, not the car park. Paid £2 by texting the number on the sign.

Lovely little spot with an interesting walk to the abandoned village. small carpark but I pulled onto the grass verge in the car park facing back out and there was plenty of room and no sharp bends or cars to navigate to get out. might want to get in early thou as gets busy with cars and walkers.

I've stayed here for the night on two separate occasions. no problems whatsoever. gets busy on a weekend so if stopping on a weekend then be advised to be early. some park on the very quiet adjacent road. scenic walks nearby. no facilities but there is a bin. there are not any signs preventing anything.

Arrived in the evening on a Saturday. Just one car was parked up which left around 11.30pm. no noise. woke up at around 8 30am Sunday morning to cars beeping horns and lots of people. looked like there was a walking group meet, plus lots of other visitors. People were parked on the road outside the carpark.
