La station de canot de sauvetage, le lieu d'arrêt des camions plus bas n'accepte plus les fourgonnettes. peu bruyant mais assez après 10 heures, vue fabuleuse sur l'estuaire.
The lifeboat station, lower truck stop location no longer accepts vans. bit noisy but quite after 10am, fabulous view over the estuary.
Die Rettungsbootstation am unteren Rastplatz akzeptiert keine Transporter mehr. Etwas laut, aber nach 10 Uhr ruhig, fantastische Aussicht über die Flussmündung.

Het reddingsbootstation, de lagere vrachtwagenstopplaats, accepteert geen bestelwagens meer. beetje lawaaierig maar vrij na 10.00 uur, fantastisch uitzicht over de riviermonding.

Lovely spot! Be careful which days you come down tho as the RNLI utilises the space and boat ramp sometimes. Had a nice chat and said no harm done by parking overnight here tho. Just please please please ensure you are in the left carpark and not the right as that's just for the RNLI! Enjoy!
Stayed here a number of times quiet after 10pm fantastic views over the estuary. Place up the road outside shunters transport also good overnight spot. RIGHTS..
Good flat overnight parking for 2/3 large vans. Area signed as belonging to harbour commissioners but no restrictions on overnight parking. Security lighting on side of lifeboat station is a bonus. Pub just down the road for drinks & toilets. Quite near a minor but not very busy road. Would use this spot again.
We were going to stop there last night but changed our minds after talking to a Lifeboat guy. He said it doesn't belong to them and we were very welcome to park there, but he did inform us that the lifeboat station was frequently broken into and vandalised, so we would be parking at our own risk. Such a shame for the lifeboat guys, and it would be a great place to stop with lovely views
Some folks comment it's a life boat station yes it is but it's next to it,to clarify this is the harbour commission car park and slipway the lifeboat station is otherside ,new photos
Don’t think this should be a stop it’s an active lifeboat station - looked today while looking for a spot and I wouldn’t stay here
