a really nice stop over a level carpark to the rear of the Toby..friendly staff and excellent food ..

MeviMeviMevi09/04/2023This was my first time stopping here. It was OK, but I don't think I will stop here again. Possibly not a frequent occurrence, but had someone pulling on my door handles at 4am - they rode off on a bike. That said, my van could pass for a tradesperson's vehicle, so perhaps looking to steal tools.
AndySapper09/11/2022Stopped in the large open-plan overflow car park at rear with a 7.5m long motorhome. No height restriction. Spoke to the manager and he was more than happy for us to stay. Lots of people do it apparently. Booked in for all you can eat buffet breakfast using the app. (£5.49 Mon-Fri, £5.99 Sat) Quiet night (Tue), no disturbance. Felt safe.

Stayed here Saturday night for trip to donny races and paloma faith nice quiet area well lit pub staff were great very welcoming and good food

Stayed here weds night and it was peaceful and quiet. car park is lit all night, so felt really safe. Then had a great breakfast to start the day off. Thank you to the staff for allowing me to stay there.

parked up in the back car park, lovely and quiet, went in for my tea now chilling in the van. lovely staff in the bar and really nice food, would highly recommend a stay over 5*

Amazing stop over, had a few days here so far. Use the restaurant every day at least once maybe twice a day. Helpful staff. Feels safe for me and my children. Just wondering if they have a water fill up point. Recommend!!

Great stop! Parked in overflow park at back and were the only ones there. Grass behind van and very quiet. Manager very accommodating and said he had put offer of free stay on a couple of apps/sites and only time they tend to use car park is Sunday. Had a nice carvery and breakfast, but no pressure or requirement to do so. Thank you Toby!

Good stop. Very quiet. No compulsion to use either bar or dining room.
