la route est une piste correcte...sauf en passant par la sortie nord de Karistos est très compliquée pour les gros camping-car...et sans doute impossible pour les tractions (pente très très raides et longues dans un village).
Depuis Karistos la route d'accès la plus simple est celle partant de l'EST de Karistos : c'est un détour...mais qui est plus prudent.

The road is a correct track ... except through the northern exit of Karistos is very complicated for large camper vans ... and undoubtedly impossible for traction (very very steep and long slope in a village). From Karistos the easiest access road is the one starting from the EAST of Karistos: it is a detour ... but who is more careful.

Die Straße ist eine korrekte Spur ... außer durch den nördlichen Ausgang von Karistos ist es für große Wohnmobile sehr kompliziert. und zweifellos unmöglich für die Traktion (sehr, sehr steiler und langer Hang in einem Dorf). Von Karistos aus ist die einfachste Zufahrtsstraße die, die vom OSTEN von Karistos ausgeht: Es ist ein Umweg ... aber wer ist vorsichtiger.
Retroceso en carretera, llano, ideal para dormir antes de realizar una caminata, especialmente la del norte. CUIDADO, esta cuesta de Mon Ochi NO es ideal para llegar a la casa del dragón (cuesta sur, ver otro punto Parkfornight. El camino es una pista correcta ... excepto por la salida norte de Karistos que es muy complicada para furgonetas grandes. . e indudablemente imposible para la tracción (pendiente muy muy muy pronunciada y larga en un pueblo) Desde Karistos la vía de acceso más fácil es la que parte del ESTE de Karistos: es un desvío ... pero quién tiene más cuidado.

We parked at the area to visit the dragon house at the top of mountain ochi. we had some difficulties to find the hike signs for it, but the view up there is great, as the dragon house itself. then we spent the night at the place and we enjoyed a cold night in the summer! the weather has been really windy!
Warning : the road is good but very very steep. we done it with Ducato 140ch 6.5m long 2.90m high 2.05m large. bigger RV ok but with strong motor and good brakes. take your time and be prepared to use the first gear. there is drinking water up there.
We went further (to the top, next to the *abandoned* refuge/shelter). views are great. perfect place to hike around. we hiked in the gorge of Dimosaris to Kallianou beach. 21km back and forth. 7hours. wonderful trek with very nice waterfalls. good 4G up there with or without antenna. we didn't meet anybody during the 3 days we stayed up there. same during the trek to the beach.
