Great spot lovely views no hight restrictions. But as someone else mentioned there is a 24 hour gym and the loud music didn't stop all night its now 5:20am and its still playing

Arrived around 6pm, and agree it's a great spot with great views BUT there's a 24 hour gym next door pumping out loud music. waited an hour then decided if it was going to be loud all night we'd move on, (10 minutes over the water to Walney). it might have been ok, they might have turned the music down, they might have closed the door. You might not mind the music. but be aware!
Falklandmuppet23/08/2023Cracking little spot right on sea front, we stopped one night, short walk to town, seagulls noesy from 4am,if u like watching small air planes, u r right opposite walney island airport, good walks along coastal path, wicked views over the estuary, thanks barrow council, defo come back

Just stayed overnight here for the last 2 nights. A fantastic free spot, and a very peaceful nights sleep. Very near to an ASDA, where you can go to use their toilets if you need to, and do some shopping. And very pleasant views over the estuary, and over to Walney Island. There are loads of quiet parking places on this, and nearby industrial areas.
