There is a No through road that passes the car park entrance of the Red Lion at Todwick. It was quiet enough despite being adjacent to the A57. Close to fishing in Kiveton and not too far to the Rother Valley country park. Also several reservoirs nearby. The Red Lion is a big pub that does food too. They may even let you use their car park if you eat… we didn’t do we didn’t ask. Potential for up to 10 Motorhomes or campers. It’s nice snd flat too. It’s actually part of the old road.

A good park up which I managed to get my 9.5m 12T truck into. The turning area is just good enough to accommodate a turn provided you are lucky that no one parks too close. Best to arrive after 17:30 to ensure all the car share parkers have departed. The Red Lion is great with good friendly staff. I ate breakfast and dinner there and there is limited areas to walk your 4 legged companions.

it's a good backup plan. felt safe enough but a lot of litter unfortunately.

We stopped here for 1 night (01/07/2023). Not much traffic noise, all in all a peaceful night. We ate a good meal in the Red Lion, but didn't ask about sleeping in the car park. There are no facilities here but it's a flat place to park up for the night if you are in the area.

couldn’t decide on a 2 or a 3 because on a Saturday night the traffic level is too noisy for me, also it’s a haven for fly tipping which is such a shame. On a positive it’s somewhere to park when in the area. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Arrived really late. Some traffic noise but not bad. Level. All in all a good night's sleep!

Stopped here 23 Feb 2022. Had a meal at the pub, a Greene King chain place. Food was decent and pub an honest place rather than high class but we enjoyed the meal. Don't ask to use the car park. The road is much more level! Some traffic noise but nothing serious. Several cars parked on the road but we had room. Good turning point at the end. TV reception was poor behind the tall hedges. Good stop.

okay for one night as limited options on here for the area but very noisy with road noise.
