Very busy road with fast cars shaking the van as they go past. Lovely for daytime walks and access to Eastbourne and the beach but wouldn't recommend staying overnight as we didn't sleep well.
Parking gratuit au bord de la route après 18h jusqu'à 8h, nous sommes arrivés en milieu d'après-midi et avons payé puis nous nous sommes arrêtés la nuit, le lendemain matin, nous avons payé une journée complète de stationnement (£ 7,80) qui nous a permis de nous garer toute la journée et de rester la nuit suivante. Nous avons parlé avec le gardien de la circulation, il a dit que les camionnettes sont tolérées la nuit tant qu'elles ont des billets valides pour le lendemain.
Road side parking free after 6pm until 8am we arrived mid afternoon and paid then stopped the night, following morning paid a full days parking (£7.80) that allowed us to park all day and stay the following night. We spoke with traffic warden he said vans are tolerated overnight as long as they have valid tickets for the next day.
Das Parken am Straßenrand war nach 18:00 Uhr bis 08:00 Uhr kostenlos. Wir kamen am Nachmittag an und bezahlten dann die Nacht. Am nächsten Morgen bezahlten wir einen ganzen Tag Parkplatz (7,80 £), der es uns ermöglichte, den ganzen Tag zu parken und die folgende Nacht zu bleiben. Wir sprachen mit dem Verkehrspolizisten, er sagte, Vans werden über Nacht toleriert, solange sie gültige Tickets für den nächsten Tag haben.

stanrogo28/07/2022Very few cars at night. The closest toilets are out of order and look like they have been for many years but another few are a short walk along the seafront.
meenab18/06/2022Surprisingly peaceful even on a Friday night, just one long loud horn around 10pm then woke up to an empty road at 7am. Great access paths down to the beach with bins and public toilets (locked in the evening).
nunumama10/05/2022Free parking on the main seafront street. Very quiet when we stayed (weekday/night). You have to pay between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

We added this place, left hand side has extra width for vans and campers. Peaceful night with the sound of the waves crashing. The odd car passing and a few voices.
