Tiny parking space right next to bridge. Uneven with very little turning room. Ok for a quick visit to see bridge but didn’t stay long.
Directement sur une rivière avec un beau pont de pierre. Très tranquille.

Direkt an einem Fluss mit einer schönen Steinbrücke. Sehr ruhig.

minkiemoo03/09/2023Stayed last Sunday, beautiful place! But prob worst place ever stayed! Day: BUSY! Constant stream of people taking selfies, walking dogs, swimming, fishing (it’s only a small place). Night: road busy til 9ish, distant road noise from dual carriageway & train noise. 2 of us parked up & 2 cars. Was woke by fishermen returning late to cars. Space: poss 4 vans if ground not wet, big potholes flood bad
katysparking02/09/2023Arrived at night a camper was having a fire and took over the place leaving no room. A few other vans and cars hanging around also looking unsure of what to do. The entrance/only over place to park looked flooded. We moved on.

Lovely spot by the river with the sound of water near a gorgeous stone bridge. Local guy said it had an interesting history & was called the dipping bridge with the arch holes for sheep to get on boats to London & that a old inn used to be across road

Appreciate the comments below but midweek it was beautiful. Not a soul around, river levels are low so no risk of flooding and to reiterate just me here all night and until midday the next day! Good 02 4G should you need it but it’s a great spot to stop.

Not a good spot for overnighting, liable to flooding after heavy rain and heaving with teenagers during summer.
