Great views of the beach, quiet, 3 spaces labelled “MOTORHOME”. We stayed in a TentBox roof tent, no problem. Cars with surfers / swimmers started arriving from 6am but quiet. There’s a surf school across the road alongside public toilets (sign says open until 6pm but they weren’t locked until around 9pm, then opened again before 9am) and outside hot showers that are operated from a £1 coin slot.
Stayed here one night, £10 for overnight parking. Coin operated outdoor showers (£1 per minute) over the road at the community surf school. Opens around 9am. Lots of locals come to walk dogs, go to the beach etc. nice place as stop over before we got to Edinburgh.
Trois places face à la plage et la mer. Un peu de trafic en fin de journée et après très calme. Les voitures sont de retour dès 6h30 (surfeurs, promeneurs, nageurs). Plat. Borne pour payer (£10€) en panne. Tres bon endroit.
Used this as day parking. Very busy on a sunny saterday but great to have pitches for vans/mh and be able to stay over. We chose not to as had other plans but I would have felt happy to do so. Was MH queuing for pitches though at 5 pm so maybe pay to get there early.
Amazing spot right by the beach, a stunning, quiet location. Up to 3 Motorhomes of any size can use this, no pre-booking, first come first served. £10 nightly fee payable on app- note that it isn’t possible to pay until 22:00 when the app enables the site. Great place for a lovely sunset view.
Parked here last minute. Only 3 designated bays however plenty of campers that were parked in other bays that stayed all night. Please note you can’t pay for parking until 10pm hits - the app will say it is closed until this point. Very friendly locals. Two minute walk to beach. Beautiful scenery & sunset. Beach very dog friendly and walkable sand. Would definitely return.
Unglaublich toller Platz direkt am Meer, perfekt für Surfer. Man braucht Autarkie, gibt Toiletten gegenüber an der Surfschule zwischen 9 und 18h. Die sind alt, aber vom Zustand ok. Überraschend leer als wir da waren.
