Seule la route d'accès venant du sud est fermée les dimanches et jours fériés de 11h à 18h. Du nord, l'accès n'est pas un problème. Pour la journée uniquement
Beautiful place under the ramparts of Rotenburg ob der Tauber. We had dinner with sheep and donkeys. It did not bother anyone that we and two other campers were standing here. Only the access road from the south is closed on Sundays and public holidays from 11h to 18h. From the north, access is not a problem. For the day only
Wunderschöner Platz unter der Stadtmauer von Rotenburg ob der Tauber. Wir haben mit Schafen und Eseln zu Abend gegessen. Es hat niemanden gestört, dass wir und zwei andere Camper hier gestanden haben. Nur die Zufahrtsstraße von Süden ist an Sonn- und Feiertagen von 11-18 Uhr gesperrt. Von Norden ist die Zufahrt aber unproblematisch. Nur für den Tag geeignet

We parked here to visit Rothenburg. A nice quiet place with plenty of space. A short walk along the river, over a wooden bridge and up a steep but fairly short path to the old town walls. Rothenburg is a delightful town. Lots of bars, cafes and shops. The buildings are all uniquely German. A must see if you like Christmas are the 2 shops opposite each other just before you reach the square.
Der Platz liegt unterhalb des Ortes und nach einem kurzen Spaziergang ist man direkt in der Altstadt. Rothenburg ob der Tauber ist definitiv eine Reise wert.

Perfect place to visit the town, although quite popular. Around 20min walking from the old town. Picnic tables nearby (on top of the hill, when coming from north).
Schöner kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit, aber Achtung: nur tagsüber - von 20 - 7 Uhr für Womo verboten! Ca. 20 min zu Fuß zur Stadt, über eine kleine Brücke und dann bergauf. Wunderschöne alte Stadt!
Am Weg dorthin ganz klares Verbotsschild für Camper! Lieber den Platz oberhalb bei Familie Meidel nehmen.

Y avons passé une nuit après la visite de la ville. Calme et pratique !
Parked here for the day to walk round the town. Quite a steep path up to the gardens. Walked back along the river. On our own here early Oct. No facilities but quite a lot of passing traffic.
Eigentlich ein toller Platz aber vier Wochen später flattert Post rein vom Ordnungsamt mit Bußgeld. Hab mich in der Nacht gewundert wer noch so spät ankommt und dann doch wieder fährt. Es war die Liebe Polizei. Haben sich wohl alle Nummernschilder notiert und uns aber nicht geweckt oder weggeschickt. Es war Samstag Nacht. Vielleicht wird unter der Woche nicht kontrolliert.
Grande zone de stationnement permettant une nuit tranquille malgré la proximité de la route. Très jolie vue sur les remparts. Très très bien.
Ganz nettes Plätzchen, auch wenn der Platz etwas offen ist und eine Straße nebendran führt (ungefähr alle 5-10 Minuten ein Auto). Die Stadt ist nur 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernt, was diesen Platz natürlich ideal macht! Scheinbar findet dort aber immer das Taubertal-Festival statt, sodass um diesen Zeitraum campen nicht möglich ist.
Nice quiet place to park without services 15 minutes walk away from the city. Beer garden nearby which is closed on Monday. We stayed overnight with no problem.

We stopped 400m South-East of the indicated spot, ist was perfect! Space enough for 3 RV’s and table and barbecue. The sound of the crickets and the river, Rothenburg a 15 min uphill walk through the woods on a small path. The space is almost flat and under some trees which is very welcome in the summer. Great spot!!

Genau wie beschrieben. Direkt gegenüber ein Biergarten den wir aber nicht gehört haben.
A few places along the road, one nice place for 3 or so cars. Access to the town by foot on a path
