recommend parking in the far section as the creaking from the paddles in the sewage treatment works is a tad disconcerting. potholes galore. but no stress, quiet and the walk to Loe bar is glorious. really good coffee and breakfast in the Coronation park cafe. sign is clear - no camping. I can guarantee we were not camping last last..
Can't overnight, but this is a nice stop if you want a place to relax during the day or evening and it has strong 4G signal.
Spent 2 nights here waiting for storm to pass. There is now the standard Cornwall CC sign prohibiting campers between 23.00 & 08.00, so caution recommended. Toilets open daytime at cafe beside lake.
We stopped here for a couple of nights great little free car park. We parked right at the back so as to be out of the way and we’re never bothered. As always remember to leave it better than you found it.
Stayed for 2 nights did a lovely curcular walk around the lake. both nights were quiet although did have someone doing dougnuts one night but not for long
Perfectly good spot for the day and night. Lidl next door to duck pond, nice cafe at the duck pond (sells bird flakes to feed the ducks and swans etc..). Easy uphill walk into town. Plenty of walking at Penrose Estate, dog Freindly area. What more do you want considering so many towns and major supermarkets are so unfriendly towards Motorhomes. It's a free car park which is rare in UK towns.
Quiet. But old dissued caravans at the end let it down
Used regularly. No one bothers you. Low facilities but Free.
