31/3/24 Most of this has been blocked off I assume by the owner, however there is a nice pitch nearby with electrical hookup. There is some old farm equipment and some bollards with cement bases restricting access, assume they will be installed before the high season. Might be space left for 1 small camper.

Can’t park or stay here!. We did and Were told to move to the parking lot closer to beach but not gravesite parking. You’ll run the risk of ticketing if you do. The P is down the road towards the golf and gravesite and is slopped. room for 4 motorhomes.
Sehr schöne Aussicht und guter Ausgangspunkt für eine Wanderung über den Strand zum Faraid Head. Wir haben dort Puffins beobachten können. Direkt in der Nähe eines Standplatzes für Wohnmobile.
Absolutely beautiful stay! There is room for 2, we had an other Van parked behind us. The view was epic from the Van and the walks around the area were also gorgeous. Recommend.
Il y a 36 ans , je venais pour la première fois à Durness. Aujourd'hui j'y reviens pour la troisième fois et malheureusement ce coin d'Ecosse a perdu tout son charme et son authenticité , il y a vraiment trop de monde jusqu'à Balnakeil. Par contre toujours la même météo : vent, brouillard et pluie et 13°c. Ce petit coin d'herbe est un peu encombré par des remorques et du matériel agricole mais avec une vue à 360°.
