Belting little spot. Alone all night, lovely little stone circle very close with great views! No bins!
Parking pour le Cercle de pierre. Près de la route mais peu de trafic la nuit. Le Cercle de pierre est un endroit merveilleux à visiter. Aucun service
Car park for the Stone Circle. Close to the road but littel traffic at night. The Stone circle is good and a wonderful location. No services
Schöner Parkplatz direkt am Fußes einer kleinen Berges. Läuft man auf die Ergebung kann man einen Steinkreis besichtigen. Und man hat einen hervorragenden Blick über die komplette Umgebung! Vom Steinkreis aus führt ein Wanderweg rund um Tarland. Von der Lage her würde ich es als das Tor zu den Highlands beschreiben. Auch als Mountainbiker kommt man auf seine Kosten. Am Parkplatz ist eine Karte mit allen Biketouren vorhanden. Es steht auch kein Schild -no overnight parking- aber da sich der Parkplatz in direkter Nähe zu Wohngebäuden befindet würde ich davon, aus Respekt, Abstand nehmen.

jordancdavies01/09/2023Great spot, glad we found it on here. After a few windy nights by the sea we decided to head inland. Very quiet, and no not a sea view from the van BUT a lovely views a couple mins up the hill. Definitely recommend for somewhere you don’t need services and want to be inland but not in a boring lay-by.

Lovely little hide-away off the road. No facilities but good enough for an overnight stay. Views at the top of the hill, a few minutes walk away are worth it.

Very little road noise and we were the only van in there tonight. There’s a couple of picnic benches at the back of the car park and an information board showing access to local walking and cycling trails.

Do not use the GPS coordinates. Instead put tomnaverie Stone circle and you will find the spot. It was a quite and nice place to sleep.

Ruhiger kleiner Parkplatz, es haben etwa 2 Wohnmobile Platz. Man kann von dort direkt zum Steinkreis laufen. Wohnhäuser auf der anderen Straßenseite.

Nice spot. Good walking and biking trails near here. Quiet car park, not disturbed overnight. Picnic tables close by.
