Great quiet spot, small car park on left before you get to main area next to toilets , only downside is close to river, so lots of midges on a morning

Fantastic free spot. Didn’t see any signs saying no overnight parking/camping and saw a ranger who parked near but didn’t come and say anything. Stunning easy walk to Hindhope Linn nearby. Toilet facilities were fairly new and clean, we even used our portable shower in there as it had a drain. There is parking for 4 campers next to the toilets and also an another parking area down off the side of the road for maybe 3/4 another 10 metres away. Only possible downside is noisy logging trucks going right past you around 6 onwards as it’s a working logging road.

Beautiful little spot. In winter the toilets and facilities are closed but it's very quiet.

Stayed here for 1 night, arrived late in the dark. Just one other motor home here. Very peaceful, good nights sleep. Toilets right next to us which was a bonus.

Decided I’d have a go at parking here last night. Easily found and the drive in was okay. There’s at least 3 wide park ups situated down this track before the bushes take over. Peaceful even with the road into Kielder forest drive nearby. Toilets at the start of the Kielder drive, 2 minutes back down the track. Unfortunately I chickened our if sleeping here, frightened myself with the woodland setting. I’m going to build up to give it another go soon. Would highly recommend though, if you’re not a wimp like me!
