Very expensive camping. Food in the hotel even more expensive and not very good. Facilities poor outside but one nice shower room inside. Good location but that’s all.
Called in advance to use service facilities. Site was particularly busy due to bank holiday weekend and we were still welcomed by very friendly owner and shown around the site. Facilitates motorhomes, campervans, caravans, tents and also had huts and hotel rooms. There was a cafe/restaurant on site. Site was clean. Also welcomes pets. We will return :)
Brilliant stay. The owner and staff are really friendly, and the site has everything you need, including takeaway window for snacks, a cafe and restaurant, snug with TV and free tea, coffee and cereal. Spacious spot, EHU, shower, waste, campfires allowed (bonus!) and dog-friendly. One of the few places that charges pp - which is great for solo travellers! Owner has a ‘Trail Angels’ ethos. Nice :)
Awesome stay! I phoned up to reserve beforehand and was met by Andrew upon arrival. Couldn’t do enough for you. Food menu looks tremendous (really wish I hadn’t eaten en-route!). Plenty of facilities, attractive location and I’m sure once the additional expansion project has been completed, people will be queuing up to get in here. Really can’t say a bad thing about the place!
Very nice camp site alote of work upgrades being done, The owner extremely welcoming and helpful. He even gave us a tour round the site. Paid £40 for our campervan with electric hook up for 1 night, this did also include a continental breakfast consisting of toast, cereal,crossiants & porridge. You were able to help yourself to free tea,coffee or hot chocolate and the site is dog friendly

Breakfast consist of toast, cereal, packaged crossiants and porridge. You was able to help yourself to free tea, coffee & chocolate throughout the day. Chef was also friendly and chatty.
Amazing find after a long road trip from northeast England, this little hidden Gem was perfectly everything we needed, friendly staff from the moment we arrived who went out of their way at every opportunity. This is not a pub & they do not serve alcohol so keep that in mind. Ps, the Sirloin stake was the best we have eaten, delicious & we will be calling again on our next Scottish adventure.
Gorgeous location with a very friendly staff. I stopped in for a quick disposal and was so taken with the place that I’ll definitely be booking a return trip. It’s open all year, with easy access to Glasgow while still maintaining a rustic charm.
Ein sehr schöner Platz mitten im Grünen. Der Preis für 1 Wohnmobil mit 2 Personen liegt bei 40Pfund, Hunde sind kostenfrei. Alles sehr sauber. Ein kleines Frühstück mit frischem Obst, Joghurt, Süßgebäck, Tee und Instantkaffee ist inbegriffen. Wer Abends Hunger hat, kann sich etwas von der Speisekarte zubereiten lassen. Sehr freundlich alle.

Overpriced place. £20 per person per night in a motorhome. Poor breakfast included in the price which includes instant coffee, not fresh as advertised. Poor quality and overpriced dinner. £22 for a lasagna or burger and service charge included. The site administrator took our money before properly explaining how the site works. Would not recommend.
Beautiful venue but wanted £50 because it's a bank holiday. Dropped to £40 but then wanted to charge extra for the chemical waste disposal. Was a bit taken back. Most we've paid anywhere else is £35 including everything. Stuck with it as it's our last night and we just want to chill instead of hunting down another venue but disappointing to say the least
Der Besitzer ist freundlich und es herrscht eine tolle Atmosphäre. Nette Menschen und gute Gespräche. Der Preis war zu hoch für das was man bekommen hat auch wenn Frühstück (Toast, Marmelade, Honig und anderes Süßes) und Tee / Kaffee inklusive war. Mit einem Camping Van ohne Elektrizität waren es 20£ pro Person pro Nacht - also am Ende 40£ für zwei in einem Auto. Eine Stelle zum aufwaschen für das Geschirr war sehr dreckig und der Untergrund so schief dass das schlafen unangenehm war.
L'endroit est sympathique. nous avons pu faire un feu de camp dans la forêt et avons pu profité de l'intérieur de la maison. l'accueil du propriétaire a été chaleureux. petit dej pas top sur la table avec les restes des autres personnes non débarrassés. mais surtout le proprio a pris le téléphone mettant lui-même 5 étoiles sur google et nous forçant à mettre un commentaire positif...
Der Platz ist mit 20£ pro Person für einen Stellplatz sehr teuer und steht nicht im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Frühstück ist inbegriffen, das besteht allerdings lediglich aus Toast und abgepacktem Gebäck, welches man selbst zubereitet. Es gab lediglich ein einziges nicht verschließbares Bad.TripAdvisor warnt davor, dass dort gefälschte Bewertungen abgegeben wurden. Nicht weiterzuempfehlen!
