This is a great spot. We’ve wild camped in some beautiful areas and this has to have had the best view. Quiet, other than the sea. We had the parking area to ourselves all night. Highly recommend.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Perfect spot! Stayed Saturday and Sunday night… Amazing walks on the beach at low tide. The sound of the crashing waves adds to the ambiance of this awesome spot !

  • 5/5

The road down is very narrow but in a smallish van you will be fine. A lovely little carpark that over looks the sea. Locals were so friendly. Probably the best spot around, we spent one night here and was just breathtaking to wake up to the waves crashing below ??

  • 4/5

Small dirty carpark off a steep bank. Not very flat and could easily be muddy if when it rains. Nice spot though, stunning view of the beach and out to sea. Very Narrow views from both approaches.

  • 5/5

Super fijne nacht gehad. Locale mensen heel aardig.

  • 5/5

Super Blick vom Camper aus aufs Meer. Mit 3 Einheimischen hier gestanden. Hatten uns den letzten Platz ergattert.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot, but a long wheelbase van is very big for the lot and might even have some challenges getting in. Lots of surfers and dog walkers all through the day.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot. Lovely view, super peaceful and quiet at this time of year. Toilets in Praa. 4G signal - which there isn't in Praa for my network!

  • 5/5

My favourite spot of all time. beautiful overlooking the beach. Definitely for SMALL vans only, its a small park up that will fit about 3 small vans and very narrow roads both ways. There's often surfers parked and dog walkers so if u get there and its busy it is hard to get out as the exit road is very tight and entry road is back up a steep hill. So be careful.

  • 4/5

Very relaxing spot, smelt a bit like cow/horse waste, but passed pretty quickly:) Definitely need levels as it’s on a little bit of a slant. Other than that, perfect spot

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot, very busy when the weather is nice. Only 4 spaces. PLEASE take your litter (especially toilet paper!!) with you or put it in the bin just around the corner on the way to the beach. This is one of the last scenic overnight stays in Cornwall, so please don’t ruin it for the camper community.

  • 3/5

It's a very nice spot, but when we arrived 8.30pm on a Thursday night in August, it was full (2 campers, 2 cars) and another car came just after us, wanting to park. We came from the west through Praa Sands, our satnav didn't know that way, but Google did. It was a 5 min drive down a very narrow lane, at times big plants were brushing us on both sides and the roof (2,1m wide, 2,6m high).

  • 5/5

The best spot we ever came across! Great views and the beach is just a two minute walk away We stayed two days and nights but we are self sufficient and got our own toilet and collected a whole bag full of garbage from others! respect this area and dont dump into the bushes. Stay quiet and low profile! Small, steep and narrow, not suited for motorhomes! shop and café in praa sands 20 mins by foot

  • 5/5

Great spot stayed here for two nights without any problems. Might be full but cars often park during the day for a beach trip and leave in the evening. So you can still be lucky with finding a spot if you are not super early. No facilities (toilets 20 minutes walking) but very calm and peaceful.

  • 4/5

Very small carpark. Unfortunately was completely full when we got there and the small access roads leading up to it were also packed. Seems like a very popular spot for dog walkers etc. understandable as the views looked beautiful. Go early if you want a spot.

  • 5/5

Absolutely amazing spot! We got our LWB Sprinter down there and parked up with the side door over looking the sea as we were the only ones here but as said before the lane is very narrow with no passing spots but if you’re happy to take the risk it’s so worth it for the view! Space for 4 odd cars or 2 campers like ours.

  • 5/5

Super toller Stellplatz nicht ganz eben, Blick aufs Meer, wenige Stufen zum Strand, sehr enge Zufahrtsstrasse.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

perfect view enough room for a small/medium van we've had no problems yet and direct access to the beach

  • 5/5

Stayed here 1 night Saturday night, could of stayed more. Perfect little spot for my MWB high top. Secluded little cul-de-sac overlooking the sea. Only one other car pulled up on the Sunday morning. Recommended. The road down is quite narrow but was fine for my van.

  • 5/5

Awesome spot. Only van here. Insane view. Highly recommend.

  • 3/5

Really nice spot, we would’ve stayed here for the night, but there was a weird man in the car who stayed there for hours with no lights on who kept looking into the van! So we had no choice to leave.

  • 5/5

Amazing view and a short walk away from the beach, car park is a little wet but can comfortably fit 3 vans in. Directions take you right into a farm but follow the road left and it’s a few 100 yards on your left. Beach views were amazing in the morning and so quiet. Highly recommend!!

  • 5/5

Narrow road but we made it in a sprinter. Amazing views, best moonshine ever. Would recommend 100%. Please dont litter, respect the enviroment and locals

  • 5/5

A beautiful spot with direct access to the beach. We watched a gorgeous sunset! really dog friendly. Suitable for 3 or 4 smaller vans. Quite narrow entry. There is a shop...a mile up the road if you need it.

  • 5/5

Best spot I've ever stayed, peaceful, beach on door step, perfect. but only for small vans

  • 5/5

Great spot! Arrived in the rain and woke up to a gorgeous view. Dog walkers at 5.30 but we got back to sleep and only got up at 9am. No one else camped here.

  • 5/5

Great spot for an overnight stay. Spaces for 3 camper van size only. Steps very close by down to the beach. Narrow roads to get to it and dog walkers use this parking. Great views and very quiet. Free no signs...

  • 5/5

Super narrow roads to get here (I'm 2m wide) and some harsh speed bumps but if you can get there it's an awesome spot. Only room for 3 or 4 van's at an absolute push and busy during the day so maybe worth avoiding during holidays etc. Keep clean please so locals don't take this spot away too.

  • 5/5

Fantastic quiet spot with stunning ocean view and 2min walk to the beach. Narrow ish roads but fairly easy access. A gem not to miss!!

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot overlooking the sea. Shared with 2 other vans midweek but no issues. Uneven but can get 3 vans fairly level. We're in a Transporter but others were in transits and sprinters (both mwb) narrow roads leading down and a tight turn in so would avoid if in a coach built or even a lwb. There is a bin round the corner too so please keep this spot clean.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot with a fantastic view. One other van when we were here for the night, not the flattest but not too bad. Narrow 5mph road along to get here so avoid if you’re in something extra-wide. Possibly favourite spot so far

  • 5/5

Had this spot to ourselves, beautiful views of the sea. Stayed one night and felt very safe. Lots of walks nearby and direct access to the beach.

  • 5/5

Stayed 1 night. amazing spot, one of my favourite so far. Felt isolated and very safe

  • 5/5

Nice place a little out the way of main car parks. Narrow road to get there, but nice space and amazing views once you arrive. Had the space to myself

  • 5/5

Great place! Night fishers came during the night but was no hassle. Very close to the beach. Beautiful views!!

  • 5/5

Great spot if you can a space, beautiful views and 50mts from the beach.

  • 5/5

The road is narrow if you come from Ashton but if you head to Praa Sands and then come back on yourself you’re not on the narrow road for long and there’s no twists and turns. Arrived around 7pm but the place was full of surfers so we went to the main car park at Praa Sands (where you can park overnight) and came back about an hour later to find only one other van here. Shared the car park with 2 other vans and a car, had an evening walk on the beach totally alone and the sunset was stunning. Definitely a little gem.

  • 4/5

Small car park for about 3 vans. Super narrow road to get to so campers couldn’t get down it. Stunning piece of land surrounded by nature with ocean views. We were the only campers there for the night but there were walkers early and late so tried to stay out of the way as much as possible. 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach. No ammenities. The place is surrounded by holiday homes so I can imagine it would be super busy in peak times but stunning place to stay if you can get in

  • 5/5

Wonderful spot, steep and windy narrow road. Perfect beach 5min walk. Quiet overnight, some dog walkers by 7am. Space for 3 vans max.

  • 4/5

Really narrow single track road with lots of potholes and overgrown bush. We went down in a LWB but wouldn’t suggest bigger. Enough space but was very busy. Lovely beach but dog restrictions on throughout summer.

  • 5/5

    Au top !!!

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Stayed here 2 nights and had the place to ourselves the first and the second shared it with another Campervan. The road is quite narrow and wouldn’t recommend it for anything larger than a Campervan. The road is pretty private so it makes it a quiet stay, the road and car park has lots of pot holes and is a little steep. There are no facilities but there is a bin by the path 1min walk away and is a 2 minute walk to a stunning sandy beach.

  • 4/5

The road to this spot is very tight and uneven. The spot itself has a great view however is very small and we unfortunately could not stay as it was already full by 6pm. We stayed further down at the Praa Sands beach car park for a few of £8.

  • 5/5

The best spot on the lizard! The road down is very tight and doesn't have many passing places so wouldn't recommend in a big van. It also only has space for 2 vans unless you parked very close

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Nice little spot for a night, just a few minutes walk down the hill to the beach, about a 20 minute walk along the beach to shop/toilets/showers at Praa Sands. Great views and very quiet (house nearby so we kept noise to a minimum as we didn't want to annoy the locals)
