Height barrier in place but plenty of space in lay bye opposite. Used for free day parking while we visited the incredible Parys Mountain site.

2.3M barrier into car park so we had to park in layby opposite, quite a few cars beeping horns through the night and some sort of late night meeting in the car park opposite at 2AM. Still a place to stop for the night.

Quite exposed, windy (obviously). No facilities to speak of and hard to find a secluded spot to wee… but we were the only people here (mid September doesn’t seem to be busy. Lots of people coming and going to enjoy the walk with friends or their dogs but no bother at all. A little road noise but otherwise quite quiet. Height restriction of 2.3meters, but a lay-by just opposite the car park is big enough for 4 or 5 larger vehicles.

God Place for overnight stays in layby but busy road..

Stayed here for the night no issues. Got here at around 7:30pm and left at 8am. Happy days.

Height barrier is 2.3m rather than 2m as advertised which was just right for us. beautiful views, level ground which looked like it had been freshly tarmaced. The coppermine trail was really beautiful. There is an upper layer to the carpark which we had to ourselves for the evening.

High restriction 2 m ok for small van , lay by opposite for larger camping car , did not stay the night ok for visiting the site

Car park has new tarmac compared to some of the earlier pictures, very smooth now. We parked in the overflow off the main car park for 1 night. There was a height barrier, we were fine in a classic VW camper, however there was a large lay by opposite, enough room for 2 maybe 3. We were the only ones there by 8pm. Quite exposed but good views. Perfect for a sunrise trek up Parys Mountain

High restriction barrier. As we stayed in small van it was ok, we were the only car there.

Just be aware that this is a known “dogging area”

Spent a trouble free night there. It's recently had a new surface added to the car park. Very smooth Tarmac. Large commercial size bin is there, to the right up the little ramp from the entrance.

Yes there is a height barrier we parked across road for the night with no problem did museum first in Amlwch then the mountain quarry brilliant

Height barrier now installed, unless you're under 2.3m its no longer possible to access this car park.

Many people come for a walk it's busy during the day.. but beautiful to visit!
