Beautiful view. Was a bit noisy with youngsters in their cars. I hoped they would go by 11. Most left but a few noisy ones stayed until 01.15 playing music, resaving engines and driving dangerously spinning wheels etc. quite after they left. Was interesting watching the life boats launch and returning. Bin waggon emptying bins at 06.00 and a road sweeper at 07.15. Not a good sleep.
A fuir ! horrible ! nous venons de passer 2 heures et le bruit était à la limite du raisonnable ... des allers venues incessantes de véhicules bruyants ... la musique, les rires , des cris ... pas vraiment de quoi passer une bonne nuit .. surtout avec 3 enfants... on part donc de l'endroit...
Kostenlose Parkplätze mit öffentlicher Toilette (geöffnet von 10-18 Uhr). Allerdings nur für recht kleine Vans geeignet, unser 7m Wohnmobil war zu groß und zu breit für die Parkflächen. Wir haben dann an der Straße gestanden (daher 1 Stern Abzug)
place has nice view, however young people were still there with loud music and engines till 3 am. at 7 am the bins were emptied, so not a nice resting night.
Easy to park, arrived Sunday night 6pm, lots of spaces. Toilets nearby but locked after 9pm. Had a great meal and view in nearby hotel of 3 bridges. Some noise with young folks and revving car engines but stopped by 11pm.
Schöner Parkplatz im Hafen. Sehr kleine Parkplätze, mit einem Wohnmobil braucht man schon 1,5 Parkplätze und Glück im richtigen Moment einen Platz zu finden. Abends sehr voll (Samstag) und die Jugendlichen machen sehr viel Lärm mit ihren Autos (bis etwa 1 Uhr nachts), bis dahin war an schlafen nicht zu denken. Der Blick wiederum war sehr schön.
Very nice spot under the bridge, ladies toilet open - 2 minute walk. No ‘’No overnight parking’ signs. Free parking. 2 nice pubs behind car park. Few boy racers around but they were just relaxing. Really nice little town. Phone signal (3) and tv signal, grateful for both after coming from the NC500!
Great day parking for campervans. No signs, so could park overnight, but spaces are small, so vans only.
Main car park closed as work is being undertaken (at 7:30am) but plenty of good spaces on the street, some noise until about half 10 from cars and some faint background noises from the trains. Toilets within walking distance and loads of pubs and restaurants, plus the incredible views.
Great spot, great views, toilets close at 6pm, some revellers at night but harmless enough, usually gone by midnight. Note the trains running through the night over the Forth so can be noisy but not unbearable.
As others have said lots of boy racers & the main car park is now shut off at night, but no problem parking beside the road & those views are amazing.
This was an ok spot for the night with quite a few camper vans and motor homes around. Groups of people were playing very loud music and having fun late at night but it didn’t bother me too much. One motor home did have a smashed window in the morning though I didn’t hear it happen.
Sehr schöner spot zum übernachten, auch mit großem Camper.Super aussicht auf die Brücken, schönes Städtchen fussläufig.
Bonito lugar para ver los puentes, y visitar el pueblo. Algo ruidosa la calle.
Genug Platz auch für einen großen Camper, jedoch auch abends noch sehr laut. Viele Jungendliche mit lauten Autos und lauter Musik. Aber ein schöner Blick auf die Brücken.
Parking accessible à tous les van/camping-cars. Belle vue mais reste un parking donc assez bruyant niveau circulation jusqu'à minuit et lieu de rassemblements de jeunes qui font souvent des allées et venues en voiture. Wc publics ouverts de 6 h à 18h. Endroit plus calme en continuant la route le long du fleuve mais toujours dans le secteur des jeunes.
Endroit à éviter pour y dormir au calme. Beaucoup de passages et de locaux qui viennent se stationner pour écouter de la musique et faire rugir leurs moteurs On a continué notre route jusqu’au kick leven.
Quite nice at night and busy at day. but free and toilets ca. 250m away. Restaurants close by.
