There is free parking in the street. Here you can walk into Ramagate. It has a lovely little harbour. This use to be a busy port at one time and had a hovercraft port. Now it is derelict and nature has taken over. The beaches are not all that. However, you can follow the trail to Broadstairs where there are plenty of quiet beautiful beaches.
From 1/9/2020 restricted from 6pm to 6am for ‘Motor Caravans’. Watch out, the residents are hostile bordering on homicidal.
Locals can be upset so park away from the houses.
