Pull in just off the side of the road, good for dog walkers. Perfectly placed bench just down the hill a bit for a perfect view across Wellington monument and surrounding countryside. Can hear motorway and main road very close however not busy at night. Lovely sunset.

Great place to stop for the day, I live local and come here for walks all the time. Didn’t stay over but stopped to make lunch and enjoy the wonderful views over the valley... even in the winter it’s just amazing! 10/12/2020

Great stop with views toward the west. Only a couple of level places so you may have to wait until people in cars leave. Check the weather because if it’s windy it will blow! ?

Excellent little stopover. Clean, tidy and off the road. Lovely walks in forest. Nice views too. Spent one night here and was not bothered. No road noise.

Awesome little spot. Didn't camp here but will definitely come back again to stay the night! Pros: outstanding views, lovely bench with amazing view positioned a little way down the hill, a 30 sec walk. Awesome sunset. Good place for dog walkers. Cons: motorway noise (even though not very close to it), noise from the main road that it is close too however this isn't very busy once it gets to 2130 ish.

Nuit mouvementée : beaucoup d'aller et venues de voitures tuning qui se posent 1h ou 2, moteur et musique allumés jusqu'à très tard. Pas mal de passage sur la route qui passe juste derrière, les voitures roulent vite et ça surprend. il faut avoir le sommeil profond. dommage car la vue est magnifique. on a très mal dormi...

Lovely spot for an overnight stay. Beautiful view across the valley. Great place for dog owners.

Had a terrible time here teenagers in cars making noice till the the early hours and a local farmer knocking on the door at 5am to ask us to leave. Do not recommend.

Great spot and views ! Friendly dog walkers around in daytime, a few youngsters having a smoke in their car with loud music until 10 so it was fine.

Nice views, arrived at around 5pm so it was dark but could see the lights of the town. There were lots of cars coming and going until about 10pm, seemed a bit dodgy but we stayed in and they didn’t bother us.
