Vue Duncton. Super spot pour un arrêt de nuit. Vue imprenable sur le matin.

Beggining of feb. Quiet here since I landed at 10pm.
Really lovely views, Dog friendly, great walks around. Feels very safe.
Popular with the locals during the day however lots of rats in the railway sleeper edging behind the parking spots.

Duncton-Ansicht. Toller Ort für einen Nachtstopp. Erstaunliche Aussicht am Morgen.

Arrived during the night - it was a very rainy and windy night, however this wasn’t a problem! It’s big enough for maybe 4 vans, and very peaceful. Cars passing were few and far between. I’m sure on a sunnier day the views here would be gorgeous! No facilities but a good, quiet place to stay.

Stayed here last night (Sunday night) on the way to New Forest, couple of locals come and go, all pretty chilled. I always wear earplugs when I sleep so who knows - might have been a massive party I missed but I was the only Camper staying the night so had the whole place to myself. Beautiful view. Haven't seen a rat yet haha

Probably one of the best views in the country, overlooking miles of countryside. No height restrictions, flat ground, room for about five vehicles.

bloody gorgeous views, proper vanlife youtube stuff. cars coming and going till 12 is my only criticism. why people gotta shut their doors so loudly XD !! blackdown hill good to walk round near here, more great views from the top :D

What a view. Great spot. Cars on road were rare after it got dark. Night was quiet too. Lovely walking with awesome views round this area, pleasant pub not too far as well.

Spacious lay-by with magnificent views. We were lucky enough to also get an amazing sunset. Unfortunately, 2-3 cars full of youngsters gathered late evening but were gone by 11. Quiet at night.

I don't normally do reviews unless I need to give good information. Not a good place for a night in my opinion. Parked up in this spot and moved elsewhere. Another camper was parked and thought when leaving good luck to them. This is right by a busy road and gets very busy with the locals. Views are great if you are just stopping by. Went here regarding good reviews on app but was disappointed.

Great spot. I did a solo trip with my dog, as a lone female camper it can sometimes feel daunting to camp in isolated spots, but this felt really chilled out and safe. Located in the carpark over looking Duncton Hill this spot has beautiful scenery and has great walks. Just to chip in, no rats! a few people stopped and moved on after a few minutes. 2 other campers there too. Really great spot.

Great little park up, amazing views, nice and quiet.

Stayed here last night, very quiet night for us only a couple of cars when we arrived around 3pm, nice little walk for dog next to car park. No sign of rats lol

Pulled up about 6pm, gorgeous view and nice and quiet. Another campervan arrived later, enough space for a few campers. Felt really safe and no sign of any rats!

Great views, and not to busy. I had maybe 10 people come and go with one camper staying the night. The road was relatively empty at night. I did see one rat during the day but at night I could not hear them. There is a portaloo near lord cowdery ruins, about a 10 minute drive.

Had a great time. A few others in the car park but respectful. A little bit of traffic but nothing crazy. Wind was in the right direction and no sign of rats. AMAZING views!!

Lovely view however very busy with locals and lots of rats around the parking spots in the embankment which had us waking up at 11:30 and moving the van to another car park about 15 mins away just to get some sleep

Lots of traffic passes by which is quite annoying. lovely views of the countryside. Windy night which made our night quite spooky.

  • 5/5

Fantastic views, deserted in the evening. Lovely forest walks. We will be back

Great little car park just off the road. Loads of space we were the only one's here late September. There's a bin and the views are excellent. Yes it was windy but the sound of the trees rustling is quite nice! Had the odd car arrive but no bother, no restrictions on overnight parking. Only negative was a little noise from the road 10m away.

Arrived late at night and was blown away by the views in the morning. Gets busy around 10am, but just people enjoying the view coming and going, some stopping just for lunch in their car. Lots of doggos which made us very happy. Stayed over night and all day the next day. No issues whatsoever. Would've felt comfortable staying longer, felt very safe. Highly Recommend.

Great night sleep, just half hour off the ferry from Portsmouth. Road a little loud but you’re not directly on it - wonderful view in the morning, little busy but everyone very polite will definitely stay again!

Stayed for the night, very quiet all night, next to a busy road. Nice views.

  • 4/5

Local beauty spot with amazing view, especially at sunset on a clear day. Up until sunset gets busy with locals coming and going to look at the view. Stayed one night undisturbed. Had a bin that was overflowing.

Great little car park off the side of a road. When driving in the dark the entrance is a little tricky to see but the views in the morning are beautiful! Probably fits about 5 vans in nicely ?

  • 4/5

Lovely view, nice size carpark, is well trodden through the day till sunset (it's a popular beauty spot). No bother off any anyone aside from a friendly nod.

  • 4/5

Stopped for a few hours during the day for snacks, naps and a dog walk, lovely view and walk in the woods, no reason why you couldn't stay the night. Kids from the local school do seem to visit frequently for a fag however.

Nice spot but directly next to a busy road. Not to bad today as it's christmas day, but would imagin any other time would be noisy. Plus side: beautiful view and a nice walk down threw the woods.
