We turned up early evening and had a very friendly welcome from the staff. Parking was at the far end of the large flat car park. Some road noise but nothing that stopped us having a great nights sleep. Enjoyed the pub so much we went back the following night to have another meal and overnight stop. Super friendly staff, great food, good beer, what more do you need? Highly recommended.

Lovely pub and staff. The car park was quiet but as others say there is some road noise. Nice for a stopover en route though.

  • 4/5

Friendly staff and great, clean and flat spaces to stay overnight. We ended up having some drinks but we were not required to stay for dinner or anything like that. The only "negative" is the roaring of the nearby road, specially compared to the night before at the New Forest, but other than that, a great place to stay for a night. The food, by the way, looked awesome too!

Stopped for one night and was very pleasant. Had dinner in the pub, the food was great and the staff were very friendly. They had no problem with us using the car park to stay over night. Flat ground at the back of the car park for campers was perfect. Close to a main road but was quiet over night. One bar of 3G on Vodafone but was usable.

What a lovely place to stay. Arrived late. Asked if it was possible to stop over. Told "of course, no problem". Parked up. Had a drink. Had a nice sleep. what more could you ask. So a big thank you to the Landlord/Landlady and their staff for allowing us to stay.

Flat parking for 5 or 6 campervans. Close to main road but quiet after 11pm.

Excellent location close to Poole Ferry Terminal for a good night sleep in our camper van. Pub staff friendly and serve good food. Overnight parking available at the far end of the car park on the gravel.

Great flat spot food drink toilets when pubs open. Off for food now parked our .7.6 metre motor home

Stopped here overnight for an 8:30am ferry. Food wasn’t available, so we bought drinks. A very quiet evening in the pub and we were the only overnighters in the car park.friendly place and welcoming to overnighters, No facilities available when the pub is closed. Thankyou for offering this service.

Great UK tradition. Parking at pubs and 'paying' with some pints. We were there last week and stayed with 2 other camper vans. During the night it was relative quiet. We had a good night!

  • 5/5

Arrived at 10:30 as the pub was about to close so unsure what it was like, but stayed overnight in our van and left in the morning. Didn’t hear the road and was an easy stopover spot for one night.

  • 4/5

We had dinner at the pub and reserved a table online. Food was very good and service nice. There were few other campers at the same spot. The pub is next to the freeway, we heard it from the car, but it did not disturb us during the night.

Stayed here for two nights. Nice pub (pub quiz is on Tuesday nights) and there's plenty of parking space. Only downside is the road noise but it didn't really bother me. Low (but usable) signal on Vodafone.

Stayed here last night. Great food and good size car park. Peaceful night. Staff really friendly. Thank you so much

Parked up in the VW T5 with 3 kids and they were more than happy to have us. No additional facilities once the pub closes but plenty of bushes

I'm in a 21ft transit minibus and there was plenty of room for me to park even though the pub was busy. staff very welcoming and friendly, no problem with me staying overnight and everything was how you would want it to be for a large country pub yes it is near a main road / roundabout but this is why I wear earplugs at night, there will always be some sort of noise even if it's the local owls!

  • 5/5

Good place to stop. Very dog friendly pub and good food. Large car park a bit of road noise as its next to a rounabout. Did not disturb me.

Abrupt and unfriendly manager.... I don't know if it was our appearance. ..but we was told there was a 4hr wait for food.. car park rather full.....a few other motorhomes. .. personally I would give it a miss...

Great spot, plenty of other campers. Land Lord in pub was very friendly and had no problem. Was ok with us emptying our grey water (while pub was closed) into the drains.

The food was superb, would recommend. The chap that booked us in for food didn't hesitate to let us stay over, it was very welcoming! We had a quiet night in the carpark and didn't hear any noise from the beer garden.

  • 5/5

We booked for a meal and stayed in our Moho on the carpark. meal times changed due to staffing however food fab and ideal place to stop fo a night before moving on. yes noise from road! but didn't affect our stay. well done the Bakers Arms

Nice place, very welcoming and dog friendly. Nice food, lovely beer called Proper Job. Plenty of room in car park, overnighted in gravel area. A fair bit of road noise as right on a roundabout on the A35, but not too bad.

  • 4/5

Great staff , food was great , nice selection of beers , it is by a roundabout but not to bad really … worth a stop

  • 5/5

A great place to stay overnight large carpark free. Facilities open with pub . Great food. Buy a pint as thanks..Road noise but otherwise a great people and a warm welcome.

  • 5/5

Very friendly staff. No problem with overnight stay. Plenty of room and level ground. Not far from Corfe Castle.

  • 4/5

Large flat car park, friendly pub with great food. No services apart from whats in the pub when its open, but free ! A bit of road noise but not bad. We are 7.5 metres so backed up into the hedge on the gravel part but no one seemed bothered where we parked.

  • 4/5

Stayed here last night before ferry. Great pub food and selection of real Ales. Very large car park which does get busy but would think there would be always room. Pub busy on a Monday night with people eating. As said before nearby road noise but not that bad really. Will be back next year for the dirty burger!

  • 4/5

Great place for an overnight stop. Good solid pub meals and friendly staff. Quiet overnight despite being near a roundabout. Traffic noise during the day. Thoroughly recommend.

  • 4/5

Stayed for one night. Dog friendly. Happy for us to stay in car park. Lots of room. As it's a pub, you have to use the bar. Close to roundabout, so can be noisy.

  • 5/5

Perfect for just an overnight stay. Near to the road and easy to find. Nice pub, good food and a clean parking space. There were more campervans and I would definitely recommend this place. Dog friendly.

  • 4/5

Good to have a big car park .. fine for 7m motorhome. Food in pub fine. Worth noting it's near a busy roundabout so of you are sensitive to road noise be warned.

  • 5/5

Food great, staff very helpful. Large car park. Stayed one night (last night), it was actually my very first pub stop over. Can recommend.
