(PA16 7UB) Greenock - 66 Battery Park Drive

Boy racers and their girlfriends demonstrating how noisy are their cars and how to use the grass as litter. Otherwise good views to the sea.

No services for an overnight stop but it's good enough if you don't need any facilities. We stayed here without any issues 1night last year & again in Jan23. Some youths in cars up til 10.30pm, just meeting, chatting, eating & playing music but then it was very quiet. Slept all night...Early start though as the council workers start turning up about 7 ish but it was a weekday after all!

[EN] short night due to the noise : Young people hang out there late at night; woken up by the street cleaners and their machines; then Zumba class with music at 7:30 am; parking lot very used in the morning.

Great for a quiet night stopover. No services, no payment meters, no restriction signs. Not found too easily in the dark as you have to turn in to a large car park by the fields and the road to the sea view area is down the road in the righthand corner. Not well lit. Not suitable for bigger motorhomes, especially if it's busy. This is a dead end but these are where you'll get the best views!

This is a brilliant stopover. Grass at the back of the spaces. watching the world go by on the River Clyde is great.
