Parked here for my first trek up Snowdon, tucked in away from the road nicely after not realising there was a second part of Pen Y Pass car park… it was dark ok lol… no issues parking there for a good 8 hours.
Le stationnement est parallèle à la A4086. Derrière un petit mur se trouve un ruisseau où vous pourrez bien vous rafraîchir. Nice et calme la nuit. Le parcours est utilisé par de nombreux alpinistes.
Parking is parallel to the A4086. Behind a small wall is a stream where you can refresh yourself well. Nice and quiet at night. The course is used by many climbers.
Parkplätze sind parallel der A4086. Hinter einer kleinen Mauer ist ein Bach in dem man sich gut erfrischen kann. In der Nacht schön ruhig. Der Platz wird von vielen Kletterern genutzt.

Campnolf09/08/2023Parkbucht am Passweg. Der Bus zum Pass und dem Wanderweg hält hier alle 20 Minuten. Angenehm um die Nacht vor der Wanderung zum Snowdon zu verbringen.
Odge06/05/2021Lovely spot but very narrow (even for a Vito van) and it is on a pretty narrow road already. 'No camping' signs could be seen from the layby so moved on instead as wanted to find a deeper layby more off the road for the night anyway. As others have mentioned, good proximity to Snowdon and the stream is lovely so some might be happy to chance it a night here I guess!

Good park up for snowdon, park in the closet lay by to pen y pass and catch the bus up
whitewards202015/09/2020Perfectly placed for an overnight stay before a climb up Snowdon. Bus stop opposite takes you up to Pen-y-pass for less than 5 minutes for £3 return. Saves struggling to get into the small car park there with £10 fee. We arrived around 6pm the night before and managed to get a nice flat spot for motorhome but can be an incline. A few noisy drivers come past beeping their horns but that might’ve been due to free roaming sheep!

The place is stunning and we left our car the whole day (for free) to hike Snowdon (there is a bus going up to Pen Y Pass car park, but hitchhiking was quite easy too). We had a peaceful night and were only 3 cars/vans (end of June). The morning was quite busy though, with people parking for the viewpoint as early as 7:45/8am. Would totally recommend!
