We parked up for a few hours on a Sunday as had to go into town, no height restrictions and lots of spaces. Was a bit worried about previous messages about break ins but we parked on the side next to the park with no issues and even slept the night. Car park flood lit so feels quite safe. Usual road noise & tram noise as in a busy area. Definitely keep any valuables out of site in your vehicle. Good for dogs as dog friendly park next door.

Attention ce matin, je me suis fait braquer par 3 gitans ce matin sur ce parking. Ils m'ont pris cb et argent. Un menaçait de m'arracher le pare chocs arrière un autre me piquait mon sac. Je l'ai vu, j'ai récupéré mon sac avec les papiers mais pas le porte monnaie. Dans la file d'attente du ferry, j'ai rencontré d'autres victimes. Ne jamais s'arrêter à Patras, ni dans un rayon de 30 km au moins.

Parking très bruyant, on était pas encore arrêté que des gamins venaient faire la Manche, à déconseiller

Further information sadly although ideally placed for the city there are undesirable people in the area, begging at the van door and someone tried to break into our camper while we were out.
