Lonely place on the Bosnian border. The last few kilometers you drive over a narrow street. The former runways are very impressive. Place without end... However, you should not walk through the bushes, mine danger. It is the largest underground airbase in Europe. Was destroyed in the Bosnian war. It is worth exploring the tunnels with a good flashlight.

Fun place to explore during the day. Lots of police in the area at all times, so not for overnight stops! The road there has some potholes but is otherwise fine.

Good place to visit and walk around, you can see interesting, huge tunnels and few buildings. Can't cross the border ofc We also tried to stay , but it's impossible to stay there at night. Around 8pm police came to us, let us finish our dinner, but kindly and directly inform we have to leave. They were checking whole airport all the time and making sure everybody is going out of area.

Toll für den Besuch der Airbase. Aber viel Polizei und Touristen.

Thought we’d try our luck camping here despite reviews. The area is interesting although not much to see. It actually crosses the border. Some logging work is being done but it’s clear. We parked at the far end of runway. Bosnian police knocked on the door at 2315 telling us to move. They were friendly but direct and said we could go camp at the plane by the entrance for night back in Croatia.

Attention.
