Parking at Lydney Harbour. Great walks along the edge of the river Severn. No turning space for large vans if all the parking spaces are full, so if coming here on a good weather day, then park on the main road. Quiet at night, and friendly people in the yacht club in the evening, who welcome guests.

Great place to stop. Quiet, beautiful walks, solid ground to park on. Good 4G if you are looking for that.

Lovely spot with views over the Severn. Stayed 2 nights in our 6.6m motorhome. First night on a slope but found a flat spot the second. It was a weekend and a few noisy youths in the evening but quite nights. Bumpy road on the way down but definitely worth it

Historical harbour safe to stay the night road a little bumpy on the way down. Had to use levelling ramps as parking has a slight slope.

We have spent the day there today 02/07/20. What a fantastic spot. Ignore the industrial estate as you drive in. Once there lovely views and walks lots of people walking but very friendly and welcoming.

Yes it’s definitely a nice spot in good weather. I live 3 miles away and park/walk there sometimes. Ignore the industrial estate on approach as you can’t see this when you are at the old docks.

Admittedly a beautiful day but a wonderful place to stop. During the late afternoon /early evening there are plenty of walkers strolling past. All very friendly and sociable. Excellent scenic and way marked walks.
