Nous recommandons ce spot . Accès facile à l’autoroute M6 mais surtout accueil chaleureux au pub. Les vans sont acceptés ( gratuitement) pour la nuit . Les repas servis sont de bonne qualité et le pub est sympa :)

called in on the off chance on a Friday night, no problems at all, just use the bar or grab some food. All very reasonably priced and a great selection, the staff are all great with a smile on their faces and they know how to pull a pint!

We arrived after midnight after another park up was full. Nice and quiet stay at the back of the car park. Couldn’t hear any road noise at all

Bought a pint an asked the bar if they minded us staying and they were fine with it. No other cars there. Quite close to main road

Turned up late in the evening on our way to windermere, had a few pints, crashed in the camper and left about 9:30 the next day. I only wish I had arrived early enough for food.

Stayed in car park for the night, little road noise but good otherwise. Had a lovely meal in the pub and a few pints. Great stop over

Brilliant stopver. I called the pub this morning and was assured I would be able to stop over. Arrived around 4pm and set up at the far end of the carpark then popped into the pub and was welcomed. I had a couple of beers, and also had a fantastic meal for which I complimented the Chef. Not lightly done - it was truly delicious! Highly recommended!

We called at 7.30pm to see if they could accommodate us (they could) and the staff were extremely helpful. We were advised that they take the last table orders at 7.45pm. Our sat nav said we were due to arrive after this time so they allowed us to order our food over the phone. We were greeted by 2 lovely members of staff. Large car park. They prefer you to park at the back by the wooden gate.

Car park was full when we arrived, despite booking ahead. We ended up parking on the road outside the pub. Food was absolute crap. Service crap. Road noisy. Definitely don’t recommend.

We rang a couple of days before staying over on way up to Scotland and booked dinner. They took our details which gave comfort we would have a spot, which we did. Staff were very friendly & welcoming, food & beer was great. Super pub & stop-over, deffo recommend.
