Quiet, flat and lovely walk to castle and to cup and rings art few miles walk. I was the only van in November. No services. No bin.

basilesp29/10/2023Super ! Grand parking pour moi tout seul. Le château en ruines juste au dessus vaut le coup d'œil. Pas de poubelles par contre.

Super endroit pour passer la nuit. Grand parking gratuit au calme. Une balade d’un quart d’heure permet d’accéder librement aux ruines du château, chouette expérience !
kate20324/07/2023A good spot, with beautiful views. Road is a little noisy, but does quieten down later. Despite it being July, it was colder than expected. No facilities, but Kilmartin is only a mile away and has great toilets.

Great spot just of the road. Very quiet at night, odd car passing but not disturbed. level with loads of space. Couple of other vans here over night. Lovely walk up to explore the castle. Highly recommend!!

Ein toller Platz direkt in der Nähe einer Burgruine. Dort gibt es viel Platz und wir hatten sehr guten Empfang (4G volle Balken). Man hört die Straße ein wenig aber hat uns nicht gestört!
Alvinsadventures22/04/2023Very peaceful Friday night spent here on a large level car park next to a relaxing stream. Only us here. Very little noise until cars came by around 8am. Just needs a bin then I’d give it 5 stars. Brilliant walk around the castle ruins.

Parking très sympa, plat en gravier. Beaucoup de places. Très calme cette nuit. Sur le matin le bruit de la route toute proche, mais pas dérangeant. Pas d'accès direct à la route, donc sécurisé pour les enfants et toutous. Le château tout proche vaut vraiment le détour et très ludique pour les enfants curieux. Pas de services bien sûr !

Parking très grand, plat, en gravier. Très calme. Pratique pour aller voir le château en ruine, peu connu, mais qui vaut le détour. Agréable promenade loin du tourisme de masse. Nous étions 2 camping-car et quelques voitures et avons passé une très bonne nuit.

Great overnight spot. Large level free car park, we were the only ones there last night. Quiet with the gentle sound of the stream all night. Went to see the castle in the morning and then went for a walk. Lovely.

Stayed here 6th Sept - large carpark with a wonderful short walk up to the castle and a big 3-hour round hike to the Bronze Age carvings. Relentless rain while we were there but didn’t spoil it (the hike duration took us off guard though!).

A magical spot. In the heart of historic Scotland. If you’re lucky enough to bag the spot in the far left hand corner you will have the sound of a babbling brook to lull you to sleep. Once the traffic has diminished.

Big, flat and level, immaculate parking, no bins so take it with you! Great sleep road quiet after 9, easy 10 mins up to castle excellent phone signal on EE and Vodafone
vauventriers24/09/2020Flat gravel car park - plenty of space short walk to castle. Nice sunset but cold in morning as in valley. Small amount of noise from road but really nice spot by stream. Had it to ourselves.

Superbe parking proprement gravillonné. Idéal pour visiter les superbes ruines du château. Proche route sans trafic la nuit. Pas d'interdiction de stationnement la nuit.

Aunque está cerca de la carretera, el sitio es muy tranquilo e, incluso en verano, poca gente para. Así que perfecto para pasar la noche.

Wenig genutzter Schotterparkplatz in sehr ruhiger Gegend. Durch einen Bach von der Straße getrennt. Diese ist Abends / Nachts kaum befahren. Das zugehörige Schloss ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Sehr schöner Stellplatz an einem kleinen Bach und die Burg ist auch nur einen kleinen 5 Minuten Fußmarsch entfernt und auf jeden Fall zu besichtigen. Sehr gepflegt alles und die Straße ist auch nachts nicht so stark befahren ☝️

Einsamer Parkplatz neben dem Castle, direkt an der Straße, neben einem Bach gelegen. Für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise ok.
