TraumaticAI15/09/2023Nice place to stay and relax. Quite busy due to campsite next door. People walking through, driving through till about 1am but they minded their own business and didn't disturb me. Lack of light pollution makes for a lovely sky at night. There is only one entrance/exit and a very narrow lane so not good for big campers.

Wir blieben eine Nacht mit unserem Camper hier. Zwei weitere Wohnmobile kamen am späten Abend dazu. Vom anliegenden Campingplatz zog spät Abends der Qualm eines Lagerfeuers ins Fenster und der Zaun zum Naturschutzgebiet ist zu hören. Dennoch sehr ruhiger, abgelegener Ort und tolle Spaziergänge im Naturschutzgebiet mit Pferden und Rindern in der Marschlandschaft.

Great isolated location. Early morning view across marshes wonderful. Narrow approach road which is currently very potholed. Bins, but no other facilities. Please park sensibly as the car park gets busy from dawn.

We have a 6m Van (Quincy), we had no problem parking up and there was plenty of room for manoeuvre, no problem at all. lovely spot, quite and nice walks, was very windy when we went but that was December so probably our fault.

Great views and some lovely walks. the road to get to the spot is NOT suitable for large vehicles. There is a bin but no other facilities. Some noise from the camping ground your next too but it didn't bother us, lots of people coming and going walking dogs etc but still a lovely spot.

A pretty good spot, on the edge of a nature reserve with lovely walks. Enough room for 4 or 5 short wheel bases. Right next to a camp site so if you're sly you might get into their loos. The spot closest the gate is pretty flat, the further away you get the more slanty you get.

Fantastic spot. we scouted the place out in the day time and then returned at about 9.30. We were the only overnighters in the car park and had a very peaceful night's sleep. Do note that it's a popular dog walking spot and walkers turned up as early as 6am. Nonetheless, would visit again. The Chequers Inn in Woodside is a short drive away and we would highly recommend it.

Nice place to stay for 1 night and have great walks to Hearst Castle etc. Gets busy so park sensibly to avoid taking much area.

It's almost impossible to turn around here, it's really small and it gets very busy with cars and dog walker. I was stuck for a good few hours. Cars leave frequently, but they're replaced just as frequently. My 5m van caused an obstruction for good part of the day and a Karen couldn't keep herself from starting an argument. Also it's right next to a campground. Never again!!

The photos are very misleading. The cars in photos are tiny. My motorhome that is 5m long. Forget extending your bike rack. The 2m width rule is a must. Only 2 vans can fit in this car park. It is very quiet and isolated and a dead end road.

Great location, minimal traffic as out of the way. Motorhomes and larger campers note 2m width restrictions!

Located at the entrance to a nature reserve, very quiet location overnight although some cars arriving early morning to make use of the park. We took a walk through the nature reserve in the morning which has a number of different routes from 1km to 10km.
