Parking sympa mais accès étroit et à double sens !!! Accès au monastère des vlachernes. Parking sous l’aéroport de Corfou, sympa pour petite halte mais on a préféré dormir ailleurs..
Grand parking directement au monastère et à la piste d'atterrissage de l'aéroport. Idéal pour l'observateur d'avion. Si vous voulez dormir, vous devriez vérifier le plan de vol à l’avance. Restaurants et tavernes accessibles à pied.

Large parking popular with local youth: cars, loud music, etc. Narrow entrance/exit road-vehicles no more than 2m wide.CAREFUL: one way road system around the peninsula. Upper road very narrow & winding - drove back up wrong way as we were too long (7.5m!)
Platschi20/05/2022Zum Plane Spotting ist es toll und eine schöne Abendstimmung. Jedoch ist es absolut ohne Schatten und Nachts um 3 Uhr lauter Autoposer die ihre Drifts über den Platz ziehen und ständig nur wenige Meter am Bus vorbei rutschen, Schotter fliegt und das mit lautem Gekröhle und Musik, das noch lustig finden. Es wird einem vors den Bus gepinkelt, obwohl es dort ein öffentliches WC hat. Viel Müll.
toktoktok04/05/2022Went there in the evening to go to airport in the morning, decided against sleeping. There was no racers but the access road was really narrow with inches to spare for motorhome. It's also two way road with one car width. Rest of the road back to North is also rather narrow, with possibility to get into jam. Fine if you have time, not when on clock. Went to airport free parking lot.

It is flat and a very nice monastery. Paid toilets nearby that don't work (save your money). Its also a few meters from incoming/outgoing planes (very loud). If that doesn't bother you the boy racers that skid around the carpark in there old bangers ALL NIGHT, laughing and shouting will certainly do the trick!!

during the week and out of season is not too bad. but with better weather and weekend it's a nightmare with cars and loud music playing

We stayed here for the night, the spot is nice and we had a perfect sunset. But it's quite busy in the late evening, there are so many motorbikes coming and going, and also many coming very early in the morning, so it was not a calm night...

Parked here only during the day , to visit the monastery and go to the beach around the corner. Easy to access and turn park. Didn’t like the idea of parking for the night here due to the planes. But it was quiet during the day while we were here no planes coming or going, but it is low season.
